We adopted our dog from a foster volunteer, Rosita, around a year ago. We could not be more thankful we found United Animal Friends and our dog, Chuska.

From the moment I saw him online I had a feeling we had found the right pup. We had been searching for months! Little did I know that he had a few other people who had put applications in for him the same day as us. We were eventually told about this after the adoption occurred— and we were picked for a few reasons but temperature was an aspect. We live in Flagstaff, and our dog has a heavy coat. He LOVES the snow. He would spend all day in it if he could. We have imagined him in Phoenix and he would have been so miserable..

I think United Animal Friends really puts a lot of thought into who the animal goes to. Luckily, we checked all the boxes (+snow) and have been able to give our boy many outdoor adventures. So thankful for this organization and for recognizing the needs of the animals they serve.

A few times over the years I have volunteered with this group and they are a dedicated group of animal lovers who want only the best. It is a great place to adopt a dog or a cat, so please contact them first.

We we're blessed to adopt Molly from UAF eleven years ago. Her passing in Nov 20 at 12-1/2 has us watching the website for a new companion. They made it so easy the first time.

After all day at the vets then a couple hours at the emergency vet in Prescott AZ. My pup ended up having to be put to sleep. Due to negligence and greed on wanting money before trying to help the pup. They suggested I call UAF. So I did. Told then the situation, and after a 10 min questioning I was declined help. So also without help the pup lost her life. The vet and UAG just wasted time where pup unfortunately had to be put to sleep

They were extremely helpful, and easy to work with. I was able to get a spay certificate for both of my cats with ease. I recommend them to anyone struggling to afford any kind of spay/neuter services.

Was going to adopt a cat from United Animal Friends. But went to a different shelter because of the experience I had with a call. The lady was nice, but she kept talking over me, interrupting me, & talking about herself & not letting me explain that I just lost my 22 year old cat & wanted a loving companion. It was rather annoying & rude.
