Had truly the best experience! We have a very nervous pup, and they gave him SO much love and made him feel so comfortable. Everyone was super attentive and just genuinely kind people. We didn’t feel rushed at all and all of our questions were answered thoroughly. Feeling so relieved to have found this place and absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a vet.

I’m new to this Vet clinic but so far I am beyond impressed! The entire team is phenomenal and so helpful with everything!! From phone calls, to emails, and visits.
Dr. Woods is the most compassionate and loving vet that there is! My dog is always so happy to see her because she not only views her as her helping doctor but also her friend. She is honest and does not try to scare you or make money off of you. She truly loves her job and it shows. It’s definitely worth making a 30 minute drive for me. Thank you to the whole team and Dr. Woods for their care and dedication to my pet. Truly cannot say enough about how great they are 🙂

I could not recommend this hospital enough! The doctors, technicians and front desk are all so friendly. You can really tell they care about the pets there. Our 4 month old puppy gets so excited when we pull into the parking lot because he knows he’s going to get loving.

They take their time to explain everything in detail and have amazing customer service. 5/5 stars!

Beautiful staff, inside and out. Everyone was incredibly kind, quick, and listening. I live in a smaller town close to the border. We had an emergency with our French Bulldog, Barkley, and needed to take him to a vet. We called multiple different vets within a 100 mile radius. We called our home town vets, Yuma vets, Indio vets, and all of them told us they could not take him, which was very disheartening. Until we finally called Uptown Animal Hospital (referred to us by a family friend), and they were more than happy to take him in. Me and my sibling drove 2 hours to visit this veterinarian, and what a pleasure it was. Although it is a bit of a drive, whenever our animals may need a visit or help, we won't hesitate to come back. Thank you for your help and love. I can't recommend this vet more. If you love your animals, take them here!! The treatment was also incredibly affordable, especially for the area and care from the staff. You can tell the wonderful people who work here love what they do and genuinely care. Thank you again!!

Such a great experience! Our cat was able to be seen same day, and the appointment process was smooth and timely. Everyone at the office was so kind and helpful.
We were given a breakdown of cost before any treatments were given, and when we opted out of a few things in the treatment plan, there was no hesitancy or pushiness from the staff (vet bills are pricey without insurance!). Definitely will be coming back for any future needs! Thank you!

I've been bringing my pups to Dr. Romero on and off for 10 years, following him as best I could throughout San Diego. You can imagine how happy I was when I found he opened his own practice! I don't have to follow him for vet care anymore. Me and my pups call ABC Uptown "home". That's how much I think about how good of a vet he is... he's the only one I trust... and my pups (Thor-10yrs running wild and free in heaven since 2021, Sheera-8yrs, and Bryer-20mo) love him too!

My pups have also been treated by Dr. LeBrecque, Hannah, Ari, Ady, and Jasmine (sorry if I left anyone off) and we can't forget Lindsey who's always so pleasant and has handled many of my appointments and records requests. I am grateful for the care they provide my pups every visit!

And can't forget to mention, the facility is clean!

What initially caught my attention about this clinic is that they offer same-day appointments. I was very worried because my dog suffers from chronic pancreatitis and had a flare-up and our vet was fully booked that day. Once I reached out they were able to accommodate us quickly, which was such a relief. The clinic staff were excellent at communicating with my dog’s primary care veterinarian, ensuring a seamless and coordinated treatment plan. Dr. Woods attended my dog and she came to the consultation already familiar with my dogs clinical history #impressed. Long story short, we received outstanding service, and I am happy to report that my dog is doing much better.
