Rating from both a client standpoint & employee, Urban has had such an impact on my life. I have never worked at an animal hospital where I felt so important, felt listened to or felt so passionate about the work that they provide. All the doctors have treated my animals like they were their own. Last year I had 3 pets all cross the rainbow bridge. The empathy and professionalism from every single coworker was heart warming. I wish I could scream from the rooftops how much this business means to the owners. Both doctors and fellow technicians treat every client like they are family & the level of skill they all have, for every species is inspiring. I couldn’t and wouldn’t have wanted anyone else helping me say goodbye to my own pets.

Doc. C and his crew came out to my farm a few days ago. They were A ++++++++!!! All of my animals were seen, 40 chickens 6 ducks, 3 geese, and 5 goats. They stood outside in the blistering sun with me as I asked ALL of the questions. They didn’t rush my visit at all. They stayed here for over an hour just going over my notes, giving me suggestions, and were MORE than happy to throw in a free lesson to cut my babies hooves, just because they knew and respected my farmer wage. And that is worth its weight in gold. DR. c. Took his time with ALL of my animals. Carefully inspecting them as if they were his own. I have never met a vet that did that. I will forever be going to Urban, and it’s even more comforting that they will take time out of their day to answer my anxiety ridden questions, and comfort me by saying “you just care ! And that’s what we want for your animals too! “ Affordable, professional, and DR. c, and the two lovely girls that were with him for Glassboxes farm visit, will always have a seat at our table. When I got my new rescue dog, Bohdi, I went on the hunt for a new vet. I've used several other vets in the San Tan Valley area, and just wasn't happy with any of them. Either they were so big/busy that it was a headache to get an appointment/speak with someone, or it was a revolving door of vets that were never still at the practice from one appointment to the next! I had seen a recommendation for Urban Livestock and figured I'd give them a try. I made an appointment in June just to get my dog established as a patient, and I was amazed by the level of detail and care. On my initial call I had asked if I could get right into a room or wait in the car until a room was available (Bohdi was a little wacky with other dogs). Not only did they assure me this was not a problem, when I showed up, they greeted me and immediately assured me no one else would be coming in right then AND they had a room ready for Bohdi! The vet took the time to get to know Bohdi, discuss with me what I was seeing from Bohdi, and they work with him on every visit! Even if it's just a tech visit (nail trim/ear cleaning), the vets are present/visible and available to consult/recommend things as needed (but not up-sell ANYTHING!). Prices are VERY reasonable (best I've seen!) but most importantly they are great with the animals. Thank you!

This review is long overdue. We sadly had to put our Doberman down this last June. We called multiple places for the service to be done in our home as we wanted him to be comfortable and no one could see us urgently. I came across Urban Livestock and they were able to come out within hours. The team was extremely sweet, patient, and compassionate. Our hearts were absolutely shattered, but they made the process bearable. We cannot thank you enough! Shout out to the receptionist as well. She was great.

Dr McKinney is Awesome with all your animal needs. Her and the entire staff of Urban Livestock and Equine are great. I can’t say enough on the care they have provided to my dogs, cats, goats and horses. In your home or at the clinic they make it very convenient for you.

Hands down the best vet to ever exist. They have quickly become family to us, their care goes beyond our animals. Our animals love them as well! They take such great care of our babies ❤️❤️❤️

Urban livestock has been my lifeline many times. They are many bet for all my animal needs. They care for my pups ( that absolutely love the whole crew)and my horses. Dr McKinney has literally saved one of my horses life. Other vets said to put him down. But never gave up. He is back to his normal happy boy. I owe her everything. The staff is all amazing and so compassionate. They are the best
