I had the best experience at URvet! I had to take my 12 year old Pug in for a bad cough. The front desk was very welcoming and accommodating. The Vet was very knowledgeable and gave my baby a full physical exam and explained everything thoroughly. The Vet tech, Ali was the sweetest!! My pug definitely was flirting with her. haha She was super knowledgeable and answered every single one of my questions and concerns. She is just AMAZING. Everyone here made me feel very comfortable and took very good care of my big baby. 10/10 experience and i will definitely be coming back! Thank you URvet! <3

Based on my experience, I will not be returning, and I recommend others carefully consider their options.

I brought my pet to this clinic hoping for quality care (and sister clinic in Midtown) but, unfortunately, my experience did not meet expectations. After a procedure, complications arose that required me to seek a second opinion at another, different clinic. The new veterinarian identified issues that needed correction, and my pet is now receiving appropriate care.

While I can’t share all the details at this time (and there are way more), I encourage pet owners to thoroughly research their options and ask detailed questions before proceeding with treatment.

Please take my experience into account, and if the clinic responds to this review, as they often do, I encourage you to reflect carefully and keep my words in mind. I have nothing to gain from sharing my experience other than helping fellow pet owners make informed decisions, and I sincerely wish you and your pet the best.

This place is incredible, from the attention, the professionalism, the beautiful and clean place and how informative they are with everything. I love it. My dog ​​had his neutering surgery here and we really liked it. The doctor was very informative with everything and kept us update by phone call with how our dog was doing and when we arrived to pick him up he came out to talk to us and explain every detail and everything we would have to do. Definitely highly recommended and I would return here once again.

I’ve been taking my pets to Urvet, and I couldn’t be more thankful for the care they’ve provided. Dr. Lemp, in particular, has been amazing. He did everything he could to help my beloved Max, and though Max didn’t make it, I appreciated how dedicated and compassionate Dr. Lemp was through that difficult time.

Now, with my two new kittens, Oreo and Leo, Dr. Lemp has continued to provide incredible care. He’s knowledgeable and attentive, especially with their complex health issues. I always feel like they’re in great hands. The rest of the staff and doctors are also so kind and welcoming, making every visit a positive experience. I highly recommend Urvet for anyone looking for expert and compassionate care for their pets!

After trying vet after vet in NYC, I am so grateful to land at URvet Care Astoria finally. I took my elderly cat there and have never been treated with such kindness, compassion, empathy, and understanding. Their service is unparalleled, from the front desk staff to Ali, the vet tech, to Dr. Lemp. They took their time, listened to my concerns, offered me options and were very transparent about treatment cost and options. I can not recommend highly enough - if you want to be treated like family, like they care about you and your fur babies - this is the place to go - particularly Ali and Dr. Lemp. Love them!

Brought my pup in on a Monday evening around 8 pm with some breathing trouble and congestion. The staff was all super friendly to both me and my pup. The vet was reassuring and gave great directions on the medicine they were giving me to give my pup at home and other things I could do at home to help my pup be more comfortable.

My only slight negative comment is that some more sound proofing or at least some white noise machines might be a good idea. You can hear the conversation in the next room over as the vet could be counseling the next family on something seriously wrong with their pet. It also might be nice to have more than one seat in the exam rooms in case a family has more than one human, on in my case, my pup stole the stool to relax on while we waited!

The staff and vets at URvet were incredibly helpful and transparent! We brought our cat in late one evening when he had unexpected symptoms. They were very quick and efficient and took such good care of our cat!
