They don’t delivery mail that requires signature in our building. They straight out lie saying they weren’t able to find you (although I was the whole day at home). They say there’s too many people in our building and they can’t delivery door to door. ? Their redelivery service doesn’t work. I had to come here in person to pick the package. The window representative wasn’t able to provide any useful info. But thankfully she was able to find my package!

Remote location without public access. Only pick-ups.
Always lines.
One associate at the counter.
You have to use this location because they hold most of the international packages here.

well, how to describe with out sounding like a total mad psychopath? Our delivery guy comes 3 times a week! With a mailbox and the flag up and mail sticking out of it....he drives right by. There are 10 units in our complex and I just spoke to all but one of them(not sure anyone is in the office) only 2 were "happy". He does not pick up boxes and or even drop the mail. Super frustrated. What are my options? Get a PO Box? That would be helping him and the post office out! I have made so many calls and apparently so have the other people in the building. How to get this guy to give us our mail? Is this not illegal? He usually skips Friday all together and now just drove by today. So we have missed mail Friday, Saturday and now Monday. If I had his name I would send him a letter in the mail but he probably would not deliver it! REALLY TERRIBLE AT HIS JOB!

Our main postman has informed us if someone is covering a shift or has too many packages to deliver that the Postman / Postwoman will say that the item has been delivered but in reality they just leave it on the truck.

You are now put into a void as the 800# customer support states the package has been delivered.

And when you go to the local sorting hub they say the same thing based on the tracking number.

You have to wait till your package just happens to be scanned again that they realize that the package hasnt been delivered.

Priority mail 1-3 days: takes up 2 weeks here in Downtown Los Angeles zip code 90013.

Even worse now that Amazon uses USPS. Best of lucking dealing with their customer support with the same issue as each company blames the other and nothing is resolved.

The person working at the desk needs to learn how to talk in a more respectful manner, like I know I asked you to repeat a few things, but what you’re working at, it muffles the sound of your voice. Employee stops talking if you ask to many questions apparently.

The pick-up window clerk interaction quality is improving dramatically as of 2017.

*** If parcel is shipped through Amazon, and therefore UPS, attention will be crucially necessary within the Amazon shipping details to specify the destination address to include "General Delivery" (... 1055 N Vignes ...) as the destination. This will properly transfer the parcel from UPS into USPS' reception process, and therefore, properly designated to the General Delivery pick-up window for available collection. If this is not added to the shipping info, that Amazon Prime two-day shipping will only lead you to dashed hopes as the parcel stirs about the correct destination facility as it stumbles through various processes entirely away from any possible transfer into your hands.
If you've read or seen the great Douglas Adams story, "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy," I'll just culminate that regarding improperly labeled shipments to USPS via Amazon orders using UPS, even though your parcel will arrive at this location, UPS may as well be compared to Vogons, as no parcel will come close to reaching your hands "without orders signed in triplicate, sent in, sent back, queried, lost, found, subjected to public inquiry, lost again, and finally buried in soft peat and recycled as firelighters."
Good luck. Take heed of my advice, and tell all your friends.

My gratitude goes out to one supervisor, MJ, whom dedicated an entire hour to locating my week-long missing parcel which was mislabeled and mis-allocated by UPS (via Amazon) while en route to this USPS facility, therefore saving my UPS parcel from a return all the way back to the sender.
