Overdue review of this awesome team of people! I moved here from north east with a very dramatic husky. She had a mass cell tumor removed before we came to this great town! I wanted to get her in with local vet. I was just taken back how thorough and complete the exam was. You can tell this doc loves his job and the animals. I now take her for nail trimmings because she’s a drama queen / they have never made me feel awkward about the fact my baby can be a handful. The welcome her with open arms and do what needs done. Hands down best place in Clinton! I wasn’t treated well at all with Dr Testers group after spending hundreds on horses the rude girl there barks at me they don’t do dogs. I tell ya his team could learn a few things from these fine folks- thank you to all for making a newbie feel welcomed

I am 61 yrs. old. I am a 100 permanent and total disabled veteran. I have multiple injuries. I have a 100% Neurocognizant Disorder; 80% Seizure Disorder; 50% Migraine Disorder; and several other military disability. I am so disabled - the Veteran Administration has given me 2 SMC's/ Special Monthly Compensations. The Van Buren County Clinic desk manager was very rude to me. She was quickly giving me orders to get in my car and I became confused and couldn't understand why she was yelling at me and ordering me around. They have refused to treat my dog for ear problems. I ask that no Veteran and Veteran Family take their pets and animals to the Van Buren County Veterinary Clinic. Due to the refusal to treat my dog.

I had previously had a wonderful experience but NOT today. The Dr wouldn’t speak to us or take care of our animals. I won’t be back. Very unhappy

Can I leave zero stars After having a sick cat for over a year and 3 vets later my cat was diagnosed with asthma by the wonderful Dr. Garner, unfortunately she has left this facility, but probably to her benefit. My cat has flare ups, she needs oral steroids from time to time DESPITE taking her inhaled steroid twice a day. She has always been on a tapered dose when these are given to her. 0.3ml for a week, 0.2ml for a week, down to the last bit which is 0.1ml every 3rd day and during that week she begins using her inhaler again to transition her over. I call in to get an oral steroid as she’s having another flare up, this isn’t unusual, usually happens twice a year, I pick it up with dosing on the bottle for “0.1 ml every third day” that’s it, nothing more, nothing less. ? that’s odd… I mean usually these are tapered, 0.1ml every third day isn’t going to kick her breathing issues very quickly, and exactly how long does she take this dose? After multiple calls into the clinic to get things cleared up and never once speaking to the vet, I was told “since you have so many questions, Dr. Hill will need you to come in” SO MANY QUESTIONS? After I gave into not having Dr. Garner any longer and decided I’d go with the odd dosing my only question was how long does she take this dose and how long do we give it at that dose before deciding it isn’t working!! That’s it! It was at that time I asked them to call in a new prescription for her inhaler. I gave the steroids as usually prescribed by Dr.Garner (I may not be a vet but I have been an ER nurse for 16 years I know how steroids should be given) and as they are prescribed by Dr. Garner it takes one month to give her the steroids. Therefore they had one month to call in the inhaler OR call me and tell me they weren’t going to call it in, they did NEITHER! I call the pharmacy to pick up her inhaler 2 days before she is out of her current inhaler and they don’t have a prescription for her. WONDERFUL! Call the vet to inquire about the inhaler AGAIN. Their response? What seems to be going on with your cat that she’s needs the inhaler? Uhhhh… she has chronic asthma, this is a daily medication. It’s nothing new. Nothing is going on with her. She just needs her daily meds so nothing does go on with her ?‍♀️ seems simple, right? Mind you my cat was just seen in December…. And they refused to call in the inhaler because it had been a year since they called the last prescription in NOT A YEAR SINCE SHE WAS THERE… a year since they picked up the phone and called in a chronic everyday medication. After a few choice words on my end, for which I don’t regret AT ALL, and after asking so Dr. Hill is going to force me to bring my cat in so he can listen to her and say welp she seems to be fine and breathing good we’ll call your meds in now? Sure enough that’s what they did, rearranging schedules so the cat can be taken in was done. They did exactly what I said they would do. And DR. HILL WAS NOT EVEN THE VET THAT SAW HER AFTER FORCING ME TO COME IN! And I say forcing because what choice did I have My cat needs that medicine! All paperwork from all my animals was retrieved, as I told them to have it printed out for us to get because we would never be returning to that place. Edited to add… they told my husband it had been a year since they saw her therefore she had to come in for a checkup in order to get the medicine. Odd, I know she was there in December and the records retrieved that day also stated SHE WAS THERE IN DECEMBER 2023. Obviously they pay great attention to the details.
