I’ve had to take many pet’s to the VCA some were urgent care and others not. I found the front office staff to be helpful and courteous. The veterinarians and vet techs are courteous, kind, and professional. I always ask extensive questions. Always discuss cost effectiveness $$ for our budget but surely will do what’s needed. They’ll do the basic exam and care, and you have the choice to take your pet to your vet for any other tests etc… if it’s a life saving situation obviously you’ll be working with the VCA veterinarian. I’m grateful that they’re local and open 24/7

There is a post in yelp as well. I took them to Small Claims Court and the Vetrinary Medical Board is perusing them. Please read my extensive review in yelp. My dog was bit by a rattlesnake ( due to their negligence ) she passed away 36 hours later. This was our Chloe.

they tried their best to help save my cat and i really appreciate all the wonderful techs who were so helpful, understanding and compassionate. Definitely would recommend for the techs and doctors. Yet one of front desk attendants at the front desk was so condescending and very rude when we were trying to pay for my cats overnight bill. She was so heartless and very pushy with the payment upfront.

My dog suddenly collapsed 2 days ago & I had to rush her to the emergency hospital, I called them on the way to let them know I was coming. I was met at the curb by 2 technicians, one of which flung open the back door, grabbed my 70 lb pitbull in her arms & ran with her at high speed back into the hospital.It took less than 15 mins to get a diagnosis & sadly the grave prognosis. Having to leave the facility without my baby girl was devastating & something I dont think I'll ever get over, but I am extremely grateful for the compassion & all around sense of urgency that we felt from the second we pulled up to the curb. A couple of yrs ago my son was involved in a serious car accident which thankfully had a much better outcome, but the treatment I received at Santa Rosa Memorial is comparable to the treatment we received at the vet hospital. A family member, whether 4 legged or two, is still a family member who is loved beyond measure & I could feel that the staff at VCA understood that & shared in our pain when they realized that there was nothing they could do to help my baby girl.

So grateful for the Animal Care Center of Sonoma County. My little Chi CoCo and I arrived at 3 in the morning. The staff was wonderful and caring. The vet was very thorough and clearly explained treatment options. CoCo was given the best care. Really comforting knowing that a caring team is available even in the wee hours of the morning. VCA Rohnert Park is amazing. We started taking our pets here after we had a handful of negative experiences with our old vet.

One of our dogs recently became very ill. We took him in and all staff was very kind, patient and compassionate. The veterinarians were very honest and straight forward, while still showing compassion, which I appreciated. I just want to say thank you to every who helped my wife, my dog and I over the past couple of days.

For those complaining about pricing; I’ve found that their pricing is similar to our old vet despite VCA RP being a 24 hour pet hospital and having to deal with higher acuity patients on a daily basis.

Our dog Artemis had what we called quadrofang! Her baby canines didn't fall out and the grown up ones were fully in.

After a consult with our normal vet we were referred to VCA to see Dr. Chris Carter. He specializes in dog orthodontics and oral surgery.

He was able to see us and walked us through every step and issue we were having with our dogs oral issues.

After surgery he checked in several times even before our check up. He answered every question and was supportive and understanding for all our concerns.

Our puppy is now healthy happy and fully recovered with no more dental issues!

We'd happily recommend Dr. Chris Carter for anyone needing dental help with their dog.

Now, I have been to VCA's before and do hold a bias towards the corporate owned vets as I have had a horrifying experience in the past. However, my experience here was so positive words really can't describe how I feel! I feel bad, but sorry, I forgot names, my head was a mess during this emergency, but EVERY STAFF MEMBER including the receptionist and the doctors were respectful, kind, and went above and beyond to help.

I had an appointment with another vet, but my 20-21 year old cat couldn't wait for the appointment as she had a UTI that was becoming extremely threatening. The staff here got her in right away and again, words can't describe how thankful I am. My cat Blazy is doing 1000x better thanks to you all. I hope some or all of you see this review because THANK YOU!

Seeing the bad reviews, it seems like a pattern of different employees or something because the rating they have, as of right now, DOES NOT reflect the actual care I received.

Edit: I had to go again because the UTI happened again (Old age in cats leaves them susceptible), and once again an outstanding interaction. I just want everyone to know how amazing Susan is! She's kind hearted, helpful, cares, and is truly deserving of praise beyond what words can describe!
