We were not happy with the guidance given by the dr. After getting a 3rd opinion theirs being the second we realized we should have put our dog down instead of spending thousands of dollars for an overnight stay that included minimal testing. The first that we saw before here and the one we saw after were more straightforward about what we should do. They were not. We also felt we were given a sense of hope that we should not have been given. They also charged us for drugs like antibiotics they just started administering and would not let us to take the remaining antibiotics with us when we wanted to go directly to the other vets office.

I am absolutely mortified by the veterinary care I have received at this clinic. Doctors lack compassion, and are wonderful at misdiagnosing patients. Nothing like catching an attitude and a horrible bedside manner! Not to mention the rude staff. My dog was misdiagnosed and was not given a respiratory panel, and sent home. Turns out he had pneumonia and succumbed to this illness at my clinic after it was too late. No antibiotics were given. The doctor told me that "benign neglect" was a fair choice. Funny because my dog is now dead because of this. By the time another vet saw him, it was too late. I had numerous veterinarians at the other clinic tell me my dog should have gotten a respiratory panel and at the very least some sort of antibiotics. I am left now without my soul dog and angry. I am respectful towards staff, but when I was asking questions I was accused of being a hypochondriac and received eye rolls from staff. But yeah, my dog's condition was not serious, even though he had green discharge from both nostrils. And was weak. And not eating. And had a fever. Ridiculous!!!! I am so disappointed. I would never write a negative review for a clinic but use caution. I am so upset. Maybe he would have passed anyway but my one year old Labrador shouldn't be dead. Told me to wait a week and it'll "go away". I opted to have him rechecked and it was too late. Shame on you.

I was not a client of VCA Life Center this evening. In fact, I had just left another urgent care vet that was now closed, but I called when I was scared and on high alert about a situation my pup was going thru. Dave took the time to help me calm my fears and explained what I was seeing and what my pup was experiencing. Thank you for your kindness and your patience with a scared dog momma. I hope to never need emergency care for my dog, but if I do I will absolutely come visit you guys. Thank you from me and my greyhound Dekko.

How does a dog that is lethargic/not eating one day, end up with brain damage, dead, bleeding from the mouth after a 3k charge for a room and a hospital? Who knows. The staffs only suggestion was to keep adding expenses on; for what? If you pay 3k for one night, then we return the next day and the dog is a zombie who cannot recognize the owners who loved and cherished him~ his condition only worsened and by the night he was dead with brain damage. How a diagnosis of diabetes turns into this nightmare where the only upside is getting away from this money hungry clinic who knows. If we would have known how bad this would turn out, we would have kept him so he could pass peacefully in his own home. Not drugged up surrounded by people who don’t care.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Dr. Church and the patient intake coordinator, Kim.

The new patient paperwork is streamlined and is actually designed for the 2am-half-asleep owners. The staff are excellent and so efficient, the initial exam occurred within 1min of walking in the door.

Along with the meds being filled literally 10min after the diagnosis - they also included a pill cutter which was such a thoughtful (and honestly unexpected) addition from an emergency vet.

Kim, Dr. Church, and the additional staff working that night are excellent - I am so grateful for all of them.

I am pleased and thankful for all the members of the VCA clinic/office. The front desk staffs were absolutely professionals, no matter the time of day. They displayed constant attention to details and empathy no matter the number of times I asked the same questions in different ways. The facility is also veteran friendly, which provided some financial relief, no matter the amount, I am very grateful. The veterinarian doctors, emergency and internal medicine were very helpful and insightful throughout my multiple visits.

All of the staffs treatment and care toward my dying pet were very humane and I couldn’t have asked for a better team of animal-loving professionals.

Thank you!

I recently had the heartbreaking experience of losing my beloved pet, and cannot express how grateful I am for the exceptional care and compassion provided by VCA Animal Emergency or aka The Life Centre.

From the moment I walked through their doors, the staff here showed genuine empathy and support. They understood the depth of my sorrow and went above and beyond to ensure both my pet and I were comfortable throughout the entire process. Everyone demonstrated the highest level of professionalism explaining every step of the situation with patience and clarity, allowing me to make informed decisions.

What truly stood out was the kindness and compassion they extended to my pet after his final moments. My boy Diesel was treated with utmost respect, and I felt reassured knowing he was in capable and caring hands.

Beyond the medical care, the entire staff showed unwavering support to me, providing a shoulder to lean on during a difficult time. Their thoughtful gestures and willingness to listen truly made a difference.

I highly recommend this location to anyone seeking compassionate and top-notch veterinary care. They turned a heartbreaking experience into one filled with comfort and support. I will be endlessly grateful for everything you did for me and my family during this challenging journey.

Came for a second opinion for my cat before putting him down and the doctor followed up with animal control being sent to my house only ONE DAY after I euthanized my cat since I rejected her $5k treatment plan. Very pushy for me to euthanize my animal even while I told her I was waiting for my family and would later that night. Very money hungry place and lack empathy for pet owners. Would not recommended!!!
