We are so happy that we switched to this animal hospital. The staff is so caring and helpful. The services we have received for our three dogs have been excellent. I would highly recommend the VCA Animal Hospital of Cotati to anyone needing excellent care for their animals. So happy we switched!!

It is sad that this Veterinary Office will no longer be getting my business. The staff can not do anything without the ONE doctor being on premises (Not even give an allergy shot to a pet that has received It for years). Per the staff, two doctors have retired and one has left. This one remaining doctor, provides NO same day appointments for animals who have been coming there since they were puppies and now are in their twilight years. This facility has not made any arrangements for other vet hospitals to help out- staff with their understaffing issues. I was told if I saw another vet I would have to pay for pre-exam. Disgraceful.

Do yourself a favor and find a veterinarian office who has more than one doctor. I did and they took care of my pets needs within minutes.

Wow! I had the most amazing experience at this pet hospital for my 8 month old baby dog Obi. They were kind, responsive and caring, and the bill wasn’t even as much as I expected for a Sunday Holiday weekend. Staff was so friendly! Highly recommended!!!

So wonderful. They have cared for our 3 dogs and have been amazing. We just had to put down our 16 year old terrier and they were fantastic. They have always been so caring and accommodating. They really care. Dr. Mercado is Super Woman. Highly recommend Animal Hospital of Cotati.

Even though it had to be limited contact they had a window open in the exam room so I could see in and talk with them. My dog is super timid with meeting new people, but personally felt they really took the most time they could to calm him and let him warm up before they started feeling his leg (he had a sudden limp), the price was also great compared to what I expected to pay. So thankful and satisfied will definitely be returning!

I brought my French Bulldog in for a c-section The staff was very nice the doctor was rude, and said I shouldn't breed my dogs. This was also before they became VCA
Be very aware they over charge now, that they are VCA. like any vet owned by VCA they will run every test possible!! When it's not absolutely needed!!
I had a buddy bring his French Bulldog in for what I'm pretty sure was an inner ear infection. They ended up charging him almost 3500 for test then kept dog for two days @ $5200 for two nights. then were trying to charge him another 6k for another test these VCA vet are crooks. Laguna vet was my main vet .I highly recommend a practice owned by the vet not a corporation. They are using people love for their animals to price gouge. DONT NOT TRUST ANY VET THAT "VCA"

I cannot say enough good things about the Doctors and staff here. We've been coming for years and have always been treated with kindness, compassion and understanding. They saved our dog's life when she developed pancreatitis a few years back. They've examined and helped every pet we've owned and seem to have an equally loyal following with other client's I've chatted with. Evening and weekend hours. I can't say enough good things. I never want to go anywhere else!
