Porque hice una cita porque mi perrita esta embarazada y eso fue lo que dije estando allí la doctora me dice que no atienden esos casos y quería que pague 230 porrayos x y 70 para que lo vean si estaba o no y eso fue ayer y mi perrita pario hoy y la doctora dijo que no podía saber si estaba o no preñada pague 25 dólares para nada 🙁

This was my first appointment with my cat and I had a very positive experience! They are great with communication, and I felt prepared for my first appointment. Check in was easy and we were seen quickly. The vet tech was super friendly and took down all of my concerns. Dr. Tran was amazing. She listened to all of my concerns and taught me a lot. I left feeling much better. It was a tad of a commute and I was going to find a vet closer to Andersonville. Never mind, I found a vet! Thank you everyone!

$1,600 was the low-end quote to get my cat’s teeth cleaned. This (along with the pre-cleaning bloodwork) was double the amount I paid for the same thing the year before with VCA Ark.

When I asked them why the price had gone up so drastically and was way out of line with inflation I was told “our office manager said it’s because we raised our prices three times this year.”

So they raise prices astronomically high because of…just because. Profits>pets here.

Afterward I got quotes for teeth cleaning from 2 other vets and asked a few friends what they typically paid for teeth cleaning and suffice to say VCA Ark was waaay above every other price.

Healthy pet in injured one out!!
My dog went in for general blood work, after which he developed a limp. Contacted VCA 3 different times over a 2 day period, and was met with a total lack of any concern for this NEW injury developed while in their care. Took my dog to a different veteran and was told he had an unexplained inflamed shoulder. No proof VCA did it BUT!! If it walks and quacks like a duck.
I will never do business with them again. Especially after the total lack of concern or responsibility for an injury I truly believe was a result of their care.

Went back for a follow up to get a booster and walked out paying $80+ for a “recheck.” I was told it was only going to be a vet tech appointment meaning you’re not charged an exam fee. This will place will nickel and dime you to death. There are many other veterinarians in the city who are just as good that aren’t owned by a large corporation.

Dr Cieply is the best most thorough vet we’ve ever had. If you’re looking for someone to sit down and create a real plan of action with you, that’s who you need to see.

They were able to provide help while being mindful of cost. You get the best service here and you can tell they’re animal lovers. I’ve seen two docs here, and both were absolutely lovely and professional, along with the support staff. Gator is always able to make himself comfortable when visiting his friends at VCA.
