I had to take my soul dog in today and have him put down. The staff here was beyond sweet during the entire process. Everyone offered their condolences and my best boy Charlie got to pass while snuggling with me. They made sure to get me paw prints, a nose print, and some fur after he passed. I would recommend this hospital to anyone having to make a tough decision about their best friend. Thank you all so much.

My dog was attacked at a dog park. They made my anger and frustrations melt away. The ladies at front desk were truly kind and compassionate. All the staff doted over my dog and made me feel like I was surrounded by a support system. Kayla, an absolute angel of a human being stayed past her schedule to make sure everything went well and staff after her knew our situation. They care and explain the cheap options and the expensive options without any judgement. We didn't have an appointment and we were still seen extremely quickly. The prices weren't cheap but nothing in America ever is, why would an emergency visit be different? Even with the price I still left extremely happy and secure in having been explained after treatment, why I'm doing the after treatment and what to expect and look out for. If you bring your pet here you'll find real humans that really care.

It’s incredibly difficult to write this review but the staff deserves the acknowledgment and the praise. I took my cat in two weeks ago and it was the most difficult thing I’ve had to do. My cat was acting unusual in the later part of the day and I knew I had to take him in. I spoke with Donna I believe was her name and she was so kind and reassuring. I brought in my cat and they quickly took care of him. Unfortunately he was too far gone but they set up the room for us to be able to love on him and take our time before we said goodbye. The veterinarian, the assistants were all so kind and understanding. Thank you all for taking care of my Spicoli, sending me his inked paw prints and making it simple to get his ashes home to me. I may have forgotten the names of the staff but I will never forget their kindness and their kind smiles.

We had the greatest experience at the VCA. We had to let both our fur babies go about 6 weeks apart.
The VCA welcomed us, let us spend as much time as we wanted with our dog in a private room. When we were ready to let them go, we merely turned on our light, and the vet came in. She was gentle and sweet, explained the process, and then waited for us to give the go-ahead.
It was painless and smooth for both our dogs.
We were even able to stay with them, if we wanted, after it was over.
THANK YOU VCA! Your entire staff treated us so wonderful. From the receptionist, to techs to the Vet! You all made a difficult time, so beautiful!

Thank you for taking good care of me and Remmie on his last day. His decline happened very quickly, and I was having a really hard time coping with losing him after 15 years. The vets both showed compassion and helped me come to a decision. Alyssa was amazing. Everything happened so fast, I didn't have anyone who could be with me to say goodbye, so she sat with me despite the clinic being busy. Her genuine kindness made the whole thing a little easier. Emergency vets can get a bad rep, but I had a really good experience despite why I was there.

Went in a while ago for my dog, didn’t help my dog at all. They told me it was impossible for my extremely dehydrated dog to give birth and we need a 3,000 operation (she gave birth on their table). After a lot of waiting and discussing a surgery and other expensive tests I paid for, they finally PUT HER IN LINE for an IV I already paid for. Now let me tell you, when she came in her tongue was completely white and she lacked energy entirely to even drink, an IV I thought (i’m not a professional tho) was the most important thing. They told me it would take around an hour to her IV which I think my dog’s case was very severe and should have been moved to the front of the line. I waited the hour and got a call telling me to come back in, got sat in the back where they instead told me I should put her down. I was with my dad who disagreed with them and not in a confrontational way just a way where he wanted to know if there was anything we could do. He was being very nice and asking a lot of questions as I cried and our doctor was just rude and cold. I understand being professional but she literally snapped at my dad telling him it was cruel to not put the dog down and for him to not influence me (my name was on the paperwork so they said he couldn’t even touch or look at the papers). They were very pushy to put the dog down almost immediately after entering the special like room they were handing me cremation papers even though I hadn’t said a word about even putting the dog down. We ended up deciding not to put the dog down and got rude remarks about how we were cruel and she’s the professional. They left it at informing us that animal services would be called on us for taking the dog. She left with her tongue still white and extremely dehydrated so I assume that IV was never taken. I’d also like to mention during the hour while we were waiting, they had called me to let me know how much better she was doing so how she suddenly became in worse condition then I had brought her in was crazy to me. I can understand my fault here, but they did not care for my dog they just cared for money.

Please read before going to this veterinary emergency hospital. I’m so Traumatized. They are so evil.

Yesterday I took my dog to this veterinarian emergency room because she was having breathing problems due to anxiety from the groomers. My dog became worse after being admitted less than 5 hours and the doctor called me and told me that she had to put her on life-support because she couldn’t breathe on her own telling me I would have end her life. The veterinarian told me without the breathing machine, she would not live for 20 minutes. They kept trying to make me sign paperwork but I didn’t feel comfortable. My mom and I had to force them to release to our care because something didn’t feel right about their approach. After we left. My dog became alert. And about an hour later the drugs they put her on wore off and she got so much better. They tried to dope her up to make it seem like she was worse then she actually was. right now today (1 day later) she’s back to normal and recovering. It hurts me so much because they lied and said she was gone already, If I didn’t listen to my mom and took her home from their care she would be dead. Please they only want money. They don’t care about our pets and they don’t have no compassion. I would never understand why they lied or why a vet would want to kill an animal when they’re supposed to help them.

9 months ago I was told “put the dog down” by another vet in town. Not even giving him a chance or trying for him. No blood work or anything. Just got told take him home and bring him in next week and say my goodbyes as I’m driving him in. So I brought him here. One of the best decisions in my life. Here we are 9 months later and Yankee is still here living his best life alive and healthy and cancer free because they wanted him to have a shot at beating it. It took a second for us to find our groove with having to get rid of one of our arms. Especially at 15 years old. But we did it!!! I know your thinking why at 15 not put him down?!? But he’s a quiet fighter always has been. So I wanted him to give him a chance to fight. He’s always been a strong dog. And with the team here at VCA and the team they recommended me to at Surgi pets who I can’t say enough good things about as well. We had a fighting chance. The doctors care here. Yes it’s a little pricey but they care about animals the way hospitals should care about people. When all hope is lost and your hurting thinking the end might be near for your best friend give him/her a chance by taking them here. Can’t say thank you enough. You saved my best friend!!!! Thank you!!! I know Yankee can’t tell you but I’m sure he’d say thank you as well!!!
