I’ve been here twice and they are always professional, empathetic and overall an amazing staff. The first time was for my newly adopted kitten whose sutures from the spaying had opened up & she developed a hernia. The doctor who operated was very kind. The second time visiting was unfortunately because of our senior german shepherd, who was having trouble breathing. I called 5 hospitals and none of them were able to help. One of the hospitals didn’t even have oxygen available. Until I called VCA Central and they immediately told us to come in. Sadly, it was our dog’s time to go, she was 15. The staff was thee very best during this hard time & made our last moments very special. I highly recommend bringing in your furbabies!

I have nothing bad to say about this place… They saved my boy!! In June, Panther ended up having Bladder stones. We had rushed him to an ER vet who charged us over 3k just for Exam, X-rays, a Catheter, and overnight hospitalization… they were quoting us 9k for surgery. We were devastated because we couldn’t afford that. We had him hospitalized overnight and the next day we began calling other vets to ask if they had space to take his case and how much it would cost. We had bad luck with over 30+ different vets in the LA Area. I was scared until I seen VCA Central. This was the last vet on my list to call, so I called. The receptionist was absolutely amazing and understood my stress about my baby. They were able to take Panther’s case. We immediately picked him up and transported him to VCA Central to which they took him in straight away. Dr. Falco was very informative about how things would go and reassured us that he would be in the best care. When it came to pricing, we knew it would still be expensive as frenchies need to be intubated a certain way, but their staff did the absolute best to work with us on the pricing. We knew our boy was in good hands. Within hours after dropping him off, we got the call that everything was successful. We were relieved, our baby boy was going to be just fine. The next day we were able to pick him up and the techs there were great and informed us on aftercare as well as a possible diet change for him to thrive. He is now almost fully healed and thriving. VCA Central saved Panther’s life and I can’t thank them enough for that.

If you do not know what is wrong with your pet, then do not bring them here. We have had 3 different pets here(2 different aged cats and a bearded dragon) at different times with different problems seeing different vets, and every time without fail they tell us they do not know what is wrong and give us the same 3 options: x-ray, bloodwork, or antibiotics. It is not the job of the pet owner to guess which option is the best, and yet they do not give information about how best to address any perceived problems. The reptile specialist Dr Johnson Richard who has seen our bearded dragon for two different issues, is particularly apathetic and gives zero effort into diagnosing a problem or seeming knowledgeable about reptiles. This place will happily take your money without saying anything other than "wait and see if they get better"

My poor doggy vanessa was suffering from giving birth and was feeling weak. We called every place possible to see who can take her in and help her out and Many couldn’t or they would charge too much where we couldn’t possibly pay. Luckily and thankfully enough VCA animal hospital gave me an alternative and discounted many things to make it affordable for us, and I was so happy and grateful of them ! They took her in very quick and helped her out and informed and updated us every single moment. At the end everything came out perfect and they were nice to us. They gave us everything we needed to take care of our pet and told us to contact them if anything. I am taking all my pets here now and recommending every single person I know to go over here as they truly care for your pets. I’m so happy she’s alive and well, time for her recovery.

I NEVER write reviews but I HAD TO for this one.

I had taken my cat to VCA Central Animal Hospital in Upland on 01/25/20. At the VCA Central Animal Hospital, my cat Leila got x-rays done, and was given medication. I was told by the Veterinarian Bryden DVM, Randall that my cat had been very lucky because she did not have any broken bones after they had done the x-rays on her. They recommended to have the cat stay overnight because she was under medication since she had just gotten struck by a truck. The next day when I went to pick my cat up from the hospital, her tail had been limping. I was reassured that it was just due to the stress and trauma she had gone through. Today on 02/27/20, I realized her tail was bleeding. I immediately took her to Pomona Animal Hospital, and was told that she is going to have to get her tail amputated since her tail is broken. Ever since the accident, she's been under high observation and only staying indoors (in my bedroom). I am still making payments on the treatment they did at the VCA animal hospital, which is totally unfair since the work performed there was inaccurate. I am very disappointed that VCA Animal Hospital did x-rays on my cat, and told me NONE of her bones were broken. Only to find a month later that she had a BROKEN TAIL ever since she got struck by the truck!
