We have been bringing our pets here for over 20 years,and we have gone through some very painful points in our lives when we have had to say our fairwells to our beloved animals.We have always been able to get whatever service we needed with our animals.We remember when there was a huge LIVE HAWK on a perch up high above the front desk on the railing.I thought that was super cool.I will say that vet service is not cheap,so be prepared to bring your debit card,as I have never left there without paying at least $100. I guess that is just the way it is.That being said, I am a satisfied with the service at Crestwood and would continue to use them.

Been a customer for many years but I'm fed up with the RIDICULOUSLY long wait to get an appointment for a sick/injured pet. Today nothing available for almost two months for our dog needing immediate care. Called the same Vet in Palmdale we took our injured cat to a couple months ago after the same EXTREMELY long wait for an appointment at Crestwood. Called at 3:15 this afternoon and got to choose three different times to have our dog seen tomorrow morning.

Crestwood, your excuses have worn thin, if you cannot fix your problems just close, maybe a smarter business oriented Vet practice can take over.

Our dog may have a urinary infection that we took her in to VCA on Tuesday. They were quick to get our money for the lab work, but because her on file vet is on vacation till Monday they want us to wait for the results till then when our dog may need medicine. Really!

Thank you Crestwood for all the care you gave to our dear Schrodinger and us. Sadly it was Schrod's time to cross the Rainbow Bridge. The staff was caring and efficient. The staff made sure Schrod's cremains made it to our new home in South Carolina. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Called asking if they had some time to accommodate my dog that was experiencing diarrhea and losing control of his bowels. The attendant that answered stated they book weeks in advance and do not service emergencies and gave me another number to call. It felt like I was being rushed off the phone, which I can understand given I called close to closing but that is just rude. It is ridiculous to call your business a hospital and not offer emergency services. I have half the mind to petition the city council to force this business to remove that from their name. All of the replies to these comments refer you to a review email that I would bet good money is not monitored. VCA has fallen far.

One of my cats suddenly fell ill over the weekend. I called Crestwood Monday morning and was able to get him seen. Unfortunately, we ended up having to put him down. We were absolutely devastated. Dr. Horn and the entire staff were so caring and helped make the whole horrible ordeal...as easy (hate to say) as possible for such a painful process. Then today, they absolutely wrecked us - by sending us a condolence card and a paw print from our cat. I am so grateful for the care, compassion, and dedication Dr. Horn and her staff showed us. Thank you all SO much.

I had to put my dog down. She was 16yrs old. The whole staff was kind. We had her cremated. The box was nice they even made a cast of her paw print. I'm not a regular customer but they treated me like one. Thanks! so much for making things easier.

Went in Oct 2023 because my cat was jaundice (turning yellow). I was crying and told the receptionist. She says " We aren't taking new patients. We don't do emergencies. And our vets are booked til Nov." It's not like my cat had a thorn in it's paw. It was having LIVER/GB ISSUES!!!!! Since Canyon is Closed Now, We drove to Lancaster to an emergency vet who took us right in, went over any and all price points. Happy to report cat is home with meds and resting. I hope someone comes in soon to fill the void of a good vet, who actually cares about you and your fur baby, but retired.
FYI They also don't take exotics. Tried to bring pet rat in and was turned away.
I understand there is a vet shortage, but it's hard when your facility is the only one in this tiny town (+80miles), and you don't take new clients.
