It started with Laurie, it was 4:30pm when I called, my little cat was in distress, she understood and told me to bring him in. Dr Beck performed a procedure on my little Jimi, that saved his life. UO is a life-threatening blockage, if not care for in time, it will kill a cat in 3-6 days.
I am so appreciative for the care my little one had, he was admitted for 3 days, and I was allowed to visit him often, which made a huge difference in his recovery. I highly recommend this hospital. The staff are caring human pet lovers and they really care ❤️

Hello friends, our little old miniature schnauzer wasn’t feel well so we called in and we were treated kindly, the service was seemingly easy.
Outside was very clean and although the parking was a bit small it was clean and pleasant to be in. It was very safe location.
Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly professional staffers. Our little baby lol, was treated with snacks and made him feel right at home. Overall the service was great. I won’t lie the treatment was expensive so if you ever need to take care of your pet expect to pay hefty prices. Overall, ask yourself do love your pet? Would you want anyone to take care of you if you were sick? We all know the answer. I know we did. Our Onyx is doing well and on the road to recovery. Thank you VCA for everything you do day in and day out for our pets in our community. Soon I will add more photos of the outside and inside.

I live in Port Richey and would rather drive an hour then go anywhere else. They were so good to my boy Mute. He was a deaf white boxer. I could bring him in anytime without an appointment and I never had to wait. Unfortunately his health took a turn for the worst. Everyone there was so compassionate and caring. The day I said goodbye to my boy was so hard for me but everyone there was so sweet and caring. One of the ladys even took the time to come in and give me a hug. Thank you to whomever that was. I was crying so hard I couldn't see through the tears. They treated Mute like he was their own. Thank you all for everything. Best pupatrician ever!!!

They seem to care about the pets but I felt that everytime I went there was pressure to have unnecessary tests done. After reading the NY Times investigation into pet costs , my suspicions about corporate owned animal care facilities, as VCA is, were confirmed. I moved my care to a private vet and my costs have dropped 30%.

We’ve been taking our cat Mick to VCA Clearwater for almost 7 years now. We’ve had great experiences. Dr. Kempfer, Laurie, Hannah and their other staff always go the extra mile to provide our cat with the absolute best care. We highly recommend them.

Dr Kim and her staff are absolutely wonderful. They make us feel like family and ensure we understand everything in the simplest way. My dogs my world and they treat him like he’s their world too.

I love the entrance board welcoming him when it’s our visit. It make it personable. I’m so blessed to have found this vet!

A few months ago my dog had surgery to remove some masses. Dr. Kempfer, Rachel, and the rest of the staff were very patient with my dog and showed a lot of confidence and skill throughout both the prep and the surgery itself. Dr. Kempfer even went out of her way to stitch closed a separate cut in my dog's ear during the surgery. I really appreciate the professionalism, skill, guidance, and empathy that this VCA showed throughout the process. Everyone here deserves recognition for their efforts. My dog recovered with no issues as I followed the care instructions they provided after the surgery. We are truly thankful for their continued care as well, as they've been helping my pup live the healthy and happy life that all animals deserve.
