I worked at VCA North Park as a veterinary assistant for 5 years. The only reason I stopped working here is because I got into veterinary school! I wouldn’t have been able to do it without the wonderful experience I gained working here. The doctors are knowledgeable and personable, they are transparent with diagnostics/treatments and clearly explain why they are recommended. I felt confident in bringing my own pets to North Park and the doctors always answered any clarifying questions I had. The manager, Michelle, is a rockstar at getting relief doctors in so that North Park could help as many pets as possible. The RVT, Rachael, is a skillful technician/nurse that I got the opportunity to learn from, and it’s clear how much she cares about what she does. The hospital as a whole does a great job being timely and respectful of clients feelings, as it can be stressful taking a sick pet to the hospital. VCA North Park provides quality care for pets, and I would recommend this hospital to anyone in the area.
My last note to any pet owner reading this, get pet insurance!!!! <3

Awesome A very personable and compassionate staff! OMG! I absolutely love them. On my 1st visit, I ended up having to euthanize my baby girl. They were so patient and loving! I never felt rushed. They allowed me all the time I needed and made her as comfortable as possible!

Pup was in earlier this week for tooth problems. Vet noticed swelling in the gums above his front teeth but didn’t prescribe antibiotics or anti-inflammatory. A week later and the swelling is much worse and now bleeding. Called back to see if they could write a prescription but apparently couldn’t even consider doing so until next week because their vet quit. I get circumstances come up but maybe do your job the first time. Now I’m off to pay another exam fee somewhere else to get a prescription because of this incompetence.

Boycott all VCA animal hospitals until they change their prices to be more affordable and comparable to other vet clinics. The employees who work for most VCA's that I've been to are true pet loving and friendly employees, however the corporate office is just another capitalist firm trying to make money off of people concerned with the health of their animals. The VCA corporate headquarters raised their rates so high that it is unaffordable for most to have their pets treated at their facilities. I think it's time for all vca customers to make a stand against this corporate greed which has turned the original idea of the vca into an unaffordable money making facility who puts money over humanity

My family and I have been taking our cats and dogs to North Park for 27 years and never had anything other than the best and most caring care for our pets. Today was no exception. The found a time slot in an otherwise booked schedule to lovingly, patiently, and very professionally work through our Labrador's last moments. The staff there from the front desk to the techs to the vets are, and always have been, absolutely wonderful to our family and pets. Thank you!

I bring my fur babies in here often for their ongoing issues. Barbara and Peggy are very knowledgeable and friendly. The doctors and techs are gentle with my pets, and provide quality care. They set up referrals for any of their special needs. I know my loved ones are in good care when I bring them in.
I highly recommend this hospital.

Nice vets and staff are pleasant and helpful, just expensive. If I didn't have good pet insurance I don't think I would go here based on the prices.

I had an emergency with a rescued mother cat. They were patient with me, answered all my questions and provided excellent care. They diagnosed my cat and administered help quickly. My cat needed a surgery that they didn't have an opening for soon enough. They called all around until they located an opening and sent all the information over to the other vet. All I had to do was show up! I am so impressed with everyone I interacted with at this VCA. They saved my cat's life while being caring professionals.
