We just went for our first checkup and it was free because it was our first one and we had a coupon. I like how much they pushed that things were optional. I didn't feel pressured to over pay for anything. Shelby was so amazing. She was patient, kind, and just overall made us feel comfortable. I hope theyre paying her well! And I hope we get to see her next time as well!

My family and our three dogs and 1 cat absolutely love VCA Animal Hospital. Dr. Jackson, Dr. Alverez, David, and the rest of the staff have created an amazing culture that makes you feel welcomed and valued from the moment you walk in the door. Their bedside manner is beyond terrific, putting our dogs at ease during visits. The quality of their facility and the expertise of their staff are truly commendable. We opted not to do surgery on our big dog Chowder because of his age. Instead, we see David who is the Rehabilitation Specialist weekly. This has been the best decision we could have made. Chowder is thriving under David’s care and is giving him the best quality of life.

If you’re seeking compassionate care and top-notch rehabilitation services for your furry friend, I highly recommend VCA Animal Hospital. Your fur babies will thank you.

My sister took her cat there because she had a coupon for a free office visit. Unfortunately, the cat had to be euthanized. My sister had to reach out for to me for help with the finances. I didn’t feel that the staff was clear on how this remote payment was going to work. At one point, they told me that they would text me and I could pay from the text. A few minutes later, they asked for my card number and and billed me without confirming it. When they decided that the kitty needed to be euthanized, they could not give me a price for euthanizing plus cremation. The worst part though was my sister did not have a phone and they would not let me talk to her. I thought that was cruel and parsimonious, and I would not bring any animal mine there because I wouldn’t want to go there myself. If they could not offer my sister such a minute kindness they must be short on compassion.

My dogs surgery center referred me to David Constanza for post-op rehabilitation for my dachshund named Louie. Even after FHO surgery Louie was not gaining mobility of his rear leg as fast as he should have. It was only after taking my Louie to see David that Louie finally began to regain mobility of his leg. David is equipped with so many different tools and equipment to assist with different mobility exercises, he has a canine rehabilitation gym! Thank you David, for being kind and patient with my Louie, thank you for your world of knowledge when it comes to dogs and physical therapy, we learned so much from you, most importantly thank you for helping him gain mobility in his leg! Thank you for helping him heal faster with the Companion Laser, it was a wonderful treatment. The laser did such an incredible job that his surgery scar is non existent, his hair grew back very fast, and his pain was less and less every time after using it.Thank you David for your work, it is such a needed service in Tucson! Very pleased with our results and experience. Louie and I can’t thank you enough!

I love Northwest Vet Hospital. My family has taken all of our animals there for the past 20+ years.
Today unfortunately we had to put our 17 year old baby down.
I called 3 other vets, to check availability and cost, one being Paws on river and they wanted to charge $600+ to euthanize her there at the vet, not at home! And they couldn’t get her in till next week! She weighs 10lbs. I was shocked and disgusted that someone would charge that much and expect me to make my dog suffer for 5 more days.
I called northwest and not only did they get me in within the hour, but it was literally a QUARTER of the price Paws charged. Literally! The staff and doctor were so incredibly caring, gentle and sweet, made us at ease that we were choosing the right thing for our mini dachshund. They couldn’t have been any nicer and they aren’t trying to make you pay a RIDICULOUS price!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND

David who does physical therapy has helped my dog so much. He is an absolute joy to be around, and the prices are affordable. I couldn't ask for a better or more likeable pt guy. My dog goes wild when I say his name because she wants to go see him.

Do not Recommend! PSA:this was a picture of my baby when she was alive.. I took her to this hospital because she had been bleeding out of her mouth and they took her into surgery. They told us the bleeding would stop and we were just hoping that was the case. We took her home and around 6pm on Sunday September 11th she started bleeding. I called this clinic back immediately and they said that it was normal and to give her medications which was what we did. On Monday September 12th the bleeding was just continuing and we called them again and I asked them if they would charge us again and they said yes and we thought it was a little off considering they did the surgery, then they sent us to a different emergency center that said the same thing and said to call them again. We did and they said that is how their system works and said to grab a towel and dab it on the blood. The next morning my beautiful angel passed away. she was only 9 months old. I called this hospital and told them they were responsible and then I spoke to the surgeon and she said that there was new people and the guy I talked to did not know they don't charge for post surgery check ups and I told them because of that my baby passed away. I also told them to make sure to give my money back for a surgery that didn't save her. Overall take your pets to actual professional clinics and know what they are doing. my baby will forever be missed and I'm happy she is no longer in pain.
