Les damos las gracias por atender a nuestra bella mascota, fueron muy amables y brindaron las información correspondientes acerca de lo que tenía nuestro gatito, lamentablemente tuvimos que desperdir ese mismo dia, pero el Doctor es una persona muy profesional al poder explicar los motivos de su eutanasia que es lo mejor para nuestros animalitos preciosos, recibi una tarjeta del Doctor dandome las condolencias de mi Leo ? a pesar de nuestro dolor, son muy amables , tienen mucha empatía del dolor que uno tiene en el momento ❤️

I have brought a few of my other dogs here and have always had a great experience. We have had some really horrible experiences with other vets and really don’t trust leaving any of our dogs unattended. VCA was very accommodating last night with allowing me to stay as close as possible to ensure my dog was safe. Everyone was so kind and Doctor Owen’s was very communicative and helpful. Regardless of cost, care is the highest of importance to my family and I will absolutely be returning if we ever need to.

Let’s face it…veterinary care is expensive. But I honestly didn’t think I would be charged anywhere near the amount I was. People are in a very vulnerable state when their beloved pets are not feeling well. Frankly I would find a way somehow to pay to make my dog feel better. My regular vet would have charged far less than what VCA did but she wasn’t available. So I went into debt to help my dog and it is what it is.
As for the care my corgi received, I would have to say it was compassionate, kind, and competent. He was prescribed antibiotics and given a very thorough exam. He seems to be feeling better but I guess we’ll see what happens after he starts his antibiotics.
Overall I would recommend taking your pet here but I would advise you do so only if it’s a very serious emergency. The prices are extremely steep but the care was worth it.

i came from fresno as we do not have a radiation oncologist. i was referred to san jose , a sage clinic when my dog was first having seizures where they diagnosed him with a brain tumor. i was told that he might benifit from radiation treatment and decided to follow up in sacramento as i have family there . vca got me in quickly as i also had a referral to uc davis but was seen there before uc davis even called to offer an appointment. i was very impressed with how well you communicate and the flow of how everything runs from getting records , all the text messages and information for appointments and even the app you offer is great to keep me updated on what’s going on and what to expect with the cost of things . Dr schutte has been so good explaining and answering all my questions and she was so compassionate and listening to what i was looking for in quality of life for my dog as i navigate what treatment to go foward with him , not pressuring me in any way. I feel very comfortable having my loved pet treated there and will be back for his radiation treatment next week . thanks from kai and becky

Not something I ever wanted to review a business on but, here we are.

We’ve been here four different times now in the last 5 months. One was to meet our dog’s new cardiologist, which had an amazing team. A second time when our dog hurt his leg and needed emergency care. They were great! The third time was to say goodbye to our 16 year old dog and today, was my fourth visit. The visit where I picked up his remains. Every visit was personal, caring and they made sure we knew what was happening and allowed us the time we needed. They even contacted his regular vet and his old cardiologist so we didn’t have to. I can’t express how much my family appreciated the kind, caring, supportive and thoughtful staff.

I had to take my dog Marnie in 3 different times for a mystery illness and was a complete wreck, but each time I went in, we were met with compassion, understanding and a willingness to find and treat the problem.
They were extremely transparent about pricing and I did not once feel like they were just trying to recommend procedures just to get more money out of me.
Im happy to say Marnie is doing great now because of everyones help and I appreciate it so much!

Finally at a place where we can hold it together enough to write this review. We highly recommend VCA VRC if your pet needs advanced veterinary care. We were referred by our regular vet after they found a mass in our cat’s abdomen. We were treated with kindness, compassion, and professionalism during every interaction with the staff.

The doctors kept in touch with us throughout the ordeal and gave us the information we needed to make decisions about the next steps. The outcome of our pet’s surgery was not what we’d hoped, and sadly we had to say goodbye to our precious boy, as they found untreatable cancer. Despite the outcome, we know he received the best possible care at this hospital during his final day.

Following his passing, we received the kindest card from the hospital, with detailed notes from many of their staff members telling us about our boy and their time with him while he was in their care.

RIP Milo, fly high sweet boy.
