I came across VCA while strolling online. They were offering "free office visits for new patients " so I signed up as my dog was due for her shots. While checking out I mentioned my free office visit offer and she quickly stated that I would have received a coupon, So I go to my email, no coupon! I am clearly a new client, and almost $700.00 later I didn't get there bogus offer.
Silly rabbit, tricks are for kids!

Dr. Kathy and the Vet Tech were excellent today. Poor Bo got poked and prodded but they handled him gently and he handled it like the good boy he is. Some vaccines and some quick checks of ears and claws and we were on our way. Good job VCA Shaker Road!

Our cat was a patient of Dr Kathy’s for 15 years. This past weekend we could tell the end was near. We called to see if we could get in to be seen, not only was our phone call returned with a text but we were not able to be seen and was told the next available appointment was the following day at 11:30. I advised I didn’t think the cat would be alive by 11:30 the following morning. I wasn’t thrilled that we couldn’t get in given the circumstances and how long we had been going there but gave the benefit of the doubt that schedules get full. We took our cat to the new Animal ER in West Springfield who was fantastic! Highly recommend them. After being evaluated we decided it was time to put her down. The following morning I sent a text to VCA to let them know we had gone to West Springfield and what the outcome was. I NEVER received a text back or how about a phone call with condolences that our cat was gone!!!! My opinion they should have called me as soon as they opened to see how she did during the night. They had no issue taking my credit card for 15 years. They showed zero compassion. Will NEVER go there again.

Dr. Kathy and team are excellent in caring for our two pups. They always try their best to get us in during emergencies. The team is incredibly knowledgeable and always so helpful.

The wife and I had to put our eldest cat down today which was heartbreaking for us. Going in we were anticipating that it might be her time but we wanted to be certain. We've had negative experiences with vets in the past that simply focus on making the most money off of you regardless of the situation. I can tell you that we did not feel that even for a second today. The vet gave us her open and honest opinion on what would be best for our cat and we agreed and moved forward. They truly did an amazing job at making the process as easy as it could be and we appreciate then immensely.

I love bringing my cat to VCA! The staff are always very friendly and attentive. The only thing that could make it better is if it was a little cheaper, but everything is expensive nowadays. Love you guys! Thank you from Kaya and I!?‍⬛?

We have been coming here for 10+ years, and cannot speak highly enough of this practice. After our most recent experience, I wish I could give 10 stars...to each staff member and our most favorite vet, Dr. Patrick. We spent the winter out of state, and lost 2 of our 4 dogs (one to cancer, the other to old age). Upon returning to NY, we let the practice know that we would only be bringing the remaining two dogs in for their annual checkup, and over the phone, they were appropriately sympathetic. Imagine our surprise when we received in the mail, not only a nice card, but a keepsake momento for our lost pups. Even though they passed away in Texas, the staff here took the time and made the effort to acknowledge our loss. We were so very touched. This is just one example of the level of care we have experienced here. The support staff is dedicated, professional and caring, and Dr Patrick will spend all the time needed to not only examine your pet, but also explain anything at all you need to know. Anything! The front desk, especially Lisa and Uta, have been exceptional and prompt in providing us with all the necessary paperwork/medical records that we require for our travels....additional work for them, given to us with a smile. We remain highly impressed!
