I had to put my cat down. They were so good with not rushing me. Explaining what would happen by the doctor herself. They went over and above to make us feel as. Comfortable as possible and then they sent a sympathy card written by the doctor.
So in love with this place!?

This review is solely based upon value of services received. The costs are exceptionally higher than other vets in the area. We were in need of Euthanasia Services and vulnerable and feel that they took advantage to charge rates that were much higher than other vets. Everyone was kind and compassionate and even stayed late. Again, this is only about the price gouging practices of the owners and management for basic veterinarian services.

Today (4/15/23) our elderly cat Jack started to get worse. He’s been failing for a few months now. I called several vets and the emergency vet. Anyone who would see him couldn’t do it until next week. The emergency vet was so out of our price range. I called VCA and spoke to Maddie (I think!) and she was the absolute best. She worked with us on getting him seen today and spoke to the vet (I’m sorry I don’t know her name!) about fitting Jack in today. My husband brought Jack in to be seen and have him put him to sleep. He came home and said everyone was very sweet and compassionate and showed empathy in this horrible time for us. I just want to thank you guys for going above and beyond for us today and showing that empathy and sympathy for us and our 16 year old Jack. I really appreciate everything that was done for us today and I don’t think I said it when we got off the phone.

Initially, my review was very negative. One star. But the office reached out to me to try to make it right and give them another chance.

As a dog mom of only rescue pups, I’m a big believer in second chances. I did go back for a second visit today. Doctors were switched, and my experience was beyond expectations.

Now, a fair thought would be that it should have been right the first time, and while that’s true, this vet respected me and my experience, listened to what I had to say(it was an intelligent, respectful conversation) and went above and beyond to address my concerns. They did not have to do that if their reputation wasn’t important. But it is and I am so happy I went back! Dr. Spyropoulos is wonderful!! Andrea, the vet tech is wonderful!! The front desk staff are great!! Lisa, the practice manager was outstanding!

My dog is in great hands thanks to the love and care rendered. Thank you VCA for doing the right thing and turning a negative into a positive!!

I've been going to Village Animal hospital for the better part of 17 yrs while still on active duty in the military. I moved here with 3 dogs and 2 cats, all rescues. Now, I'm down to a different dog and 2 different cats (rescues too). I trust and rely on the advice, care, and attention to detail from the whole team. Between all the wonderful ladies upfront especially Jackie (has since retired), vet. techs, and Dr. Bauman and others, past and present, Village, in my opinion puts the pet's welfare first! I recently visited VCA Village Animal Hospital with my cats, Jack and Sally, and I was thoroughly impressed with the level of care and professionalism displayed by the entire team. The clinic itself was impeccably clean, creating a welcoming and safe environment for both pets and their owners.

The staff at the clinic were exceptionally friendly and helpful, demonstrating genuine care and concern for my cats’ well-being. Dr. Redmond, in particular, stood out with her extensive knowledge and compassionate approach. She was very kind and took the time to explain her treatment plans and lab results in detail, ensuring that I was fully informed and comfortable with the care being provided.

One aspect that particularly struck me was their handling of my cat Jack, who tends to be aggressive with veterinary staff. The team handled him beautifully, showing great skill and patience, which helped alleviate my nervousness.

The trust I have in this clinic’s staff is immense. It’s evident that they deeply care about animals and are committed to their well-being. The reasonable pricing is an added bonus, and the fact that they accept Care Credit makes their services more accessible.

Needed an emergency visit for our youngest cat. They told us bring him in as soon as we could. They accommodated us, vet tech came in, veterinarian saw us quickly and they explained in detail and showed us results. In our opinion, FANTASTIC STAFF!!! AWESOME DOC'S AND THEY CARE!!! We highly recommend this place for anyone to bring their loved pets!!!☺️?☺️

Staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and very responsive to our needs. We were able to get in right away when our baby Boston terrier was sick and needed care ASAP. Thanks to the superb care our Ariel is doing great!
