I want to thank Dr. Espinosa and Faith from Vegas Valley Pet Hospital for the love and care they gave Bowser in his final month. Prior to Bowser becoming a patient at Vegas Valley Pet Hospital, he was under the care of Dr. Brown at Pet Oasis, who is a passionate, caring, and dedicated professional. Dr. Brown explained there were indications the cancer was more than external—that it had possibly reached Bowser’s lungs—and that he would need care from an oncologist going forward.

I’m so glad we chose Vegas Valley Pet Hospital. From the moment Dr. Espinosa and his vet tech, Faith, met Bowser, they never judged him; they were always compassionate and understanding. Faith gave him the same attention she would have given her own pet, and Dr. E was very knowledgeable—his testing was thorough, and he came up with a clear plan.

Unfortunately, the melanoma was too advanced and had spread to Bowser’s brain. We had to let him go on New Year’s Day. It has been a very difficult and sad time, but I find some peace in knowing we loved him with all our hearts, did everything we could to save him, and that he is no longer in pain.

I love this place, great staff and great doctors (Dr. Rokos & Dr. Espinosa) and even better availability. My dogs have seen them for everything from minor visits to limb amputations and cancer treatments. They treat your pets with care and love. I live in Pahrump and will always do the two hour round trip to bring my dogs here. If you love your pet, give them a good doctor. Don’t look for the cheapest look for the one that will care for your pet and do the job right the first time. I’ve paid higher prices for bad doctors before. It hurts your wallet and your pet. At Vegas Valley Pet Hospital you still pay for quality but here you really do get the quality you paid for.

Dr. Espinosa is so kind, so compassionate and so professional. He broke down all the scary things to make it easier for us to understand & also gave us reasonable options instead of wanting to preform experiments. He truly had my late kitty’s best interest in mind. We had to make the hardest choices I’ve ever made, but Dr. Espinosa assured me that my poor baby wouldn’t be in pain and that I was making the right choice. I’ll never forget how professional and reassuring he was. The experience was comfortable for him and us. Thank you so much for caring about my Yuki, even if it was for such a short amount of time.

I'm fortunate to have had a few great places for my dogs. Vegas Valley is one of those. I came here specifically because of Dr. Espinosa! But having experienced the rest of the staff, it really is an amazing overall experience. From check-in to check-out, every experience has been wonderful. Victoria has been regularly our VetTech, and her love of animals is clear as day. She literally gets on the floor for my terrified, 4-leged old ladies. Her compassion for them makes the visit so much more bearable.
I will follow Dr. Espinosa to the end of the earth. First off, he knows what tests to do based on the information at hand. He has never run 100 tests like other clinics, sadly do. He is incredibly knowledgeable and also incredibly compassionate with my old ladies.
Today, he had to give me bad news that my Sheppard mix is fighting a battle she isn't going to win, and I could literally see the pain in his face before the news hit me. The animals he sees are his passion, and it's obvious he's chosen the career that he was meant to do.

Vegas Valley Vet Pet Hospital is the best veterinary experience we've ever had. Dr. Rokos managed a wound on our cat's chin that has finally healed after months of us trying on our own. He is incredibly kind, really listened to our concerns, and communicated effectively throughout. Dr. Espinoza also very provided very compassionate care during a follow up visit. Every staff member we have encountered has been wonderful, from the front desk to the vet techs (Jackson, Sierra, Lorena, and Emma). We cannot thank you all enough for taking such good care of Zuke!!!

All around best in Las Vegas and surrounding areas. I had another visit with my elderly dog yesterday for en eye, and skin issue. Things were getting worse instead of better with no help from other vet visits elsewhere that would not do much past look at my dog and tell me to keep an eye on it. So I went in for a 3rd opinion at Vegas Valley.
Dr. Rokos was amazing with him! (as he always has been with all my pets) He takes the time explanaining things to me, and answering all my questions. I do not feel rushed or pushed aside like I have at other clinics. My dog was properly diagnosed pretty quickly then put on a very simple treatment plan for me. Everyone at Vegas Valley Pet Hospital is amazing. I can not recommend them enough.
