The Veterinary Medical Center of St. Lucie County has been an incredible source of support for our family. When our beloved 14-year-old lab mix, Peyton, reached the end of her life, they were not only straightforward and clear about her prognosis but also incredibly compassionate. They guided us through her palliative care, providing medication and education so we could give her the best care possible in her final days.
When the time came to say goodbye, the entire team showed immense empathy, from the front desk staff to the techs and the doctor. They allowed us all the time we needed to be with Peyton, never rushing the process and giving us space to say goodbye both before and after. Their compassion truly helped ease such a difficult moment.
Since then, we've adopted a new pet from Peggy Adams with known health issues, and the Veterinary Medical Center of St. Lucie continues to show the same care and love for him as they did for our princess Peyton. Their consistency in compassionate care is remarkable. If I could give them six stars, I absolutely would!

They took care of Luna 1st when she had an allergic reaction. 24 hr services if needed is great. Dr and staff were amazing.
Staff very friendly. Decor in office like a home beautiful not like a hospital. Dr Patricia Diskant is very well trained and able to answer any Questions you may have. We picked Luna up today from getting spayed. She stayed over night for observation. We received thorough instructions verbal and written from tech with discharge. The Techs are friendly knowledgeable and compassionate Luna is home and Doing well. Thanks for the great care.

Diana does a wonderful job of handling/grooming our German Shepherd rescue. It gives my wife and I great comfort knowing that everything is under control and our girl is being taken care of so well. Our GSD truly loves going for her “spa” mornings, a direct reflection of the care/attention she gets. We get great service from the Veterinaries and vet techs too. Everyone is thorough, thoughtful and caring. Really glad we found this location. I would give them five stars every time.

I give the veterinarian side 5 stars but not the grooming side. I was told for a wash, blowdry and nails trimmed and bottom cleaned up would be 90-95 dollars for my cat which is fine but when I dropped my cat off I got a call and the groomer said she couldn't do it because my cat was too upset which is also fine because cats are difficult. My husband went in to pick her up and they charged us 50 dollars and the only thing it looked like she did was brush her out which I can do at home. Her nails were not trimmed and if they were they were barely trimmed. I'm very disappointed that they would charge us 50 dollars and I was not happy about that.

Huge thanks to the team at VMC for going above and beyond! I show up last Wednesday believing we had an appointment for Pepper when we get there the front desk noticed I didn’t have an appointment in till the following Wednesday! Thankfully, I wish I had her name the front desk personnel quickly noticed Pepper only need to see tech! She kindly double checked to see if a tech could help us since I drive around half an hour with a toddler when we have to bring Pepper to the Vet! Fortunately, the tech was able to help us with what Pepper needed and everything worked out perfectly! So grateful for making it happen. ?
