Dr. Kyle is fantastic! He is nice, informative, understanding, and extremely knowledgeable. He works with you and your goals for your pet. He responds to emails very quickly. There are always emergency appointments available so it’s no trouble getting an appointment. My cat lost his eyesight basically overnight and every other place had 2 weeks to 9 months of a wait for an appointment but they got me in the next day!!! He has continued to see them and although it is almost an hour away from our home, I wouldn’t go to anyone else at this point. I also just love being able to schedule appointments online. This is a wonderful place and I highly recommend it to anyone with pets having eye issues!!

We were concerned about our 11 year old golden retriever's eye issue that just suddenly occurred. Our normal vet could not get her in for a while. Looking up businesses that could help us we came across Veterinary Revision and I am so happy we did. We were able to get in much quicker than with our vet. Upon booking an appointment we were kept informed with emails regarding them receiving her records as well as what to expect and confirmation of the appt. The assistant performed three initial tests for diagnostic. Dr. Kyle entered and introduced himself and examined my Bella and was sure to make sure she felt comfortable during his examination. Dr. Kyle told us the issue which and insured us that Bella would be fine with time. That it would heal on its own. But for the just in case he did let us know he would put us down to be checked in on to make sure everything is well with Bella and if not informed is what we could do next if we chose. The cost was reasonable worth every penny to have a peace of mind. Thank you so much for everything and Bella thanks you all too.

After being told her eye condition was an emergency, all of the ophthalmologist in CT, MA and even NH wouldn’t get us in sooner than a month (and that’s just for the initial visit). Veterinary Revision was the only one who worked with us. First, the online appointment request was very convenient. I was super annoying and emailed them a bunch and they always responded fast and were so helpful even getting me in sooner by being on the cancellation list. Thankfully so because my dogs eye condition got worse quickly and they were able to remove her eye. She is soo much better now that the pain in that eye is completely gone due to the removal. Very good experience at the New Windsor location. Received texts and emails about our appointment before and after. Dr Toffelmire and his techs were excellent and patient. He is obviously an expert in this field but explained everything in an easy way. They were fast and efficient as well.

I brought my son’s 12 year old Shih Tzu, Cici, for a consultation with Dr. Kyle Tofflemire on Sept 5.

I was hoping he would have a treatment that could at least partially restore her eyesight. Sadly, that was not an option given the nature of her eye disease.
Even with the bad news, Dr. Tofflemire took a long time showing me the structure of the eye, where her blindness originated and why no treatment option would work to restore her eyesight. He and his staff did an excellent job in explaining the tests and in describing what he found. He is a kind, caring, thoughtful and compassionate veterinarian.

Other than the diagnosis which I did not like, I was very happy with the care they all demonstrated in her exam and the detailed explanations Dr. Tofflemire provided.

I recommend his practice highly with no reservations.

A few weeks ago, I took my 13 year old dog, Dutch, to Dr.Tofflemire at the NY location of Veterinary Revision. He had been treated by other vets for corneal ulcers, with a few weeks of non healing, then eventual progress with some remaining eye issues. Dr.Tofflemire was 100% the best vet I have encountered in 30+ years of pet ownership. Personable, very knowledgeable, professional yet caring, provided thorough information and his staff was super friendly. Worth the 2hr+ drive and very reasonably priced, with no $ surprises which was great. Dutch was diagnosed with glaucoma and responded right away to treatment, and though he can't see from the prior ulcers, he is acting like his happy and goofy little self again. Highly recommend. I wish I had gotten him there sooner. Thank you Veterinary Revision!

I was very fortunate to find Dr. Tofflemire in Connecticut and he performed eye surgery on my cat, Atticus, in 2023 to remove a cancerous growth. Dr. Tofflemire thoroughly explained the procedure to me and calmed my concerns about it. He was reassuring, and answered all my questions. I could not have asked for a better outcome. It was like a miracle! He and his staff were comforting, professional and caring and I would highly recommend them.

Doctor fantastic. Staff fantastic. They are skilled and compassionate. I highly recommend them for the eye care of their pets. Our Truffle had to have both eyes removed. I appreciate that Dr. Kyle first worked to save the eyes. Always told us our options and what he would do if it was his dog. I have friend whose dog had cataract surgery in both eyes. She raves about Dr. Kyle and the entire staff . Thank you to all.
