They are the best! I've been taking my two dogs and a third family dog for over a year now. I've had several vets over the years, I consider the vet here one of the best. Such a nice and personal staff of people. I can't say enough. I love them and would highly recommend the care at Vista Hills.

This is by far my favorite vet office I’ve ever been to - they are so good with my two cats (who are my babies) which is really important to me. I’ve had good experiences with all their employees but especially love Shelly and Dr Mitchell!! You can tell they’re super caring and compassionate about their jobs. I really appreciate the gentle care with my dog and not being pushy or forceful with him since he can be timid at the vet sometimes. Morgan was so sweet to him and gave him lots of love and cookies, I know that helped him a lot. I also appreciate the thoroughness of the vet/techs, making sure I understand all of my options and not leaving me with questions.

I have heard really good things about this Animal Hospital from my family and friends. I decided to take our cats to them, and our cat Jax had an emergency and had to be euthanized. Dr. Lory and his assistant Shelly were so kind, even through all the stress and crying…I could not thank them enough for everything that they did for us. I could feel the compassion and empathy. Even though it was a heartbreaking experience, everyone at the animal hospital (including the sweet receptionists) made it better, and I couldn’t ask for a higher quality veterinary office!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I was very anxious to bring in my two year old German shepherd that I had just adopted a few days prior as she can be intimidating when she first meets people! The whole staff was very welcoming when we came in and helped calm my dog and made sure we got in a room right away. The vet assistant and the vet both took the time to answer my million questions and were very patient with me and my dog. I was just very impressed from the moment I called and spoke with the amazing receptionists to make the appointment until the moment we left. Their customer service for both humans and animals is on point! I will definitely continue to bring my dog, Freya, here for all her veterinary needs.

The doctor and staff really listens and cares about their patients. It was our first visit here (we were going to another vet) and our puppy was happy to go in and loved everyone she was around. At our last vet, she didn't like going there and we had to physically pick her up to go inside. The price was reasonable, the visit was calm and we feel all our concerns were addressed. A very caring and knowledgeable doctor and staff.

This was my first visit to the office with my furbaby. The staff was very friendly and professional. I had Ryann (so sorry if I spelt it incorrectly) and they helped walk me through the process and vaccinations and preventions and made sure the entire time to reassure me I was in control of what they give my dog. Dr. Mitchell examined my Pitbull and was very kind and helped answered any and all questions I had. 10/10 Would recommend to anyone looking for an affordable professional vet!

I would never recommend this vet. One of our dogs came home from the kennel with Giardia. We paid $90 to have a sample tested which tested positive as expected. It's not unusual for dogs with a stay in a kennel. This is parasite that is easily treated with Metranidazole and yet this vet will not prescribe it without an office visit (which they wouldn't accomodate for 2 more days) and will also result in $100+ charge. This is pure profiteering. There is nothing more they would do other than visually look at the dog, touch her belly and confirm a prescription is needed.

This is after we spent $500+, 6 months ago, for wellness visits for our dogs. Do not recommend.
