This is by far the best animal place in Lafayette. Everyone took such good care of my Cheeseburger. They are fast, and the whole staff is very nice. Even the receptionist Tammy is very kind. I'm so grateful to have them care for my baby

I can't say enough positive things about Wea Animal Hospital and everyone who works there.

When my elderly golden, Jasmine, stopped responding to chemo for her lymphoma and we made the decision to say goodbye to her, they got me in immediately, and the empathy and care they took with me, my family, and Jasmine was absolutely amazing and made the experience peaceful and absolutely what I needed for such a hard day.

I have another dog recently diagnosed with cancer and he's been having a rough time with treatment, and they have always been there for me, and flawlessly work with his oncologist to ensure his health is of utmost importance.

I have always been able to talk to someone or get one of my dogs in, any time my crazy dog mom self is concerned, and the doctors listen to everything I ask and answer all my questions. And trust me, I'm there a LOT with four dogs and a cat that constantly try to kill me with stress over their antics.

I trust Dr Jewell, Dr Bair, and all the rest of the staff at Wea 100% with my animals, and I very highly recommend them for anyone who's looking for a place that treats your pet just like family.

Wea Animal Hospital is a wonderful place. Dr. Jewell and her staff have always given exceptional care to our three cats over the years. Recently, our sweet
Shadow had to be put down and they handled the experience with dignity, respect, and extreme care. A few days later we received a sympathy card, signed by the entire staff. They also arranged for a clay paw print to be made, which I picked up recently. They are just awesome.

The vet took incredible care of my tortoise. Her husband even made a little wheelchair for the poor tortoise whose hind legs weren’t working!! Tortoise now wants to go back to the spa every day, lol. Amazing vet!!

Just took my baby Lady there and the staff is so kind and professional. My dog has been chewing her feet almost raw and they explain every possibility as to why she may be doing it. Gave her medicine, the vaccines she needed and shots to relieve the itchiness. I’ll definitely be taking her there again for her check ups and my other dog as well. Lady is very scared of people but she didn’t try to growl or bite the doctor. Can’t expressed how pleased and happy I am to see my dog get the treatment she needed and deserved. Pricing is very reasonable as well.

Most vets think their degree makes them a good veterinarian. Dr. Bairs experience really shines when it comes to understanding the proper health and care for dogs. As a breeder it is tough to find a vet that understands practical approaches to raising puppies and caring for pregnant female dogs. I have been to 7 other vets, she is the only vet at this clinic and in this town I would trust. Whether just going in for a check up or in need of serious care, she’s the one to call.
