I had to euthanize a 12 year old family cat today. Any pet owner knows that this is the worst part of being a pet owner-no living breathing being lives forever. The staff was exceptionally loving and caring. I was feeling like our pet had possibly been misdiagnosed, but the dr. quickly explained in a loving way that was not likely the case, putting my guilty thinking mind at ease. They allowed the entire family to attend in order to show our beloved pet the love and support he deserved during his transition. The cost was much more reasonable and affordable than I expected; half of what our regular vet was asking for. Although small compared to where we normally go, their true compassion for both our pet and family has shown us that we may need to switch vets for our other pets.

The vet just needs to let you know before they proceed to do something else to your pet like cleaning their ears after a rabies shot, because you might not be able to afford it. She was going to proceed without asking first.

Took our Rottweiler, Tiny, to West 56th Vet Hospital due to her limping. They were able to see us right away, the prices were reasonable, Staff was friendly + straight to the point, and the advice given has our girl feeling a lot better. Will continue to use them for our babies. 💜

After a week of hell at a different vet clinic, I brought my cat to Dr. Steele at West 56th Street. From the moment I walked in, I already felt so much relief! The difference in just one visit has been night and day from the last vet office. My girl has gotten THE BEST care I could ever hope for, and I am forever grateful. We aren't out of the woods yet, but no matter what the outcome, the staff has been amazing. They actually care! The communication is excellent. Most importantly, they have a treatment plan, and they execute it. I could never recommend this hospital enough! Absolutely worth the 30 minute drive. Thank you! Thank you!

This is the BEST vet hospital in Indy, hands down. They're very friendly and offer cheap services.

Our cat had to have a very difficult surgery, and W 56th St Vet was so kind and helpful in her recovery, even going so far as to monitor her for free during the days after her operation. We are honestly so thankful to them for helping save our cat's life. She's on the mend and acting more like her old self. Thank you!!
