My pets have always received outstanding care from both West Davis Veterinary Center and South Davis Veterinary Center. We started at the original South Davis location in 2007. We've seen many different vets at both locations over the years and everyone has been knowledgeable, professional and compassionate. Every vet has provided thorough information about my pet's condition, our various treatment options and the costs involved.
Detailed estimates are always given in writing before any procedure and all changes require my approval. On the day of a procedure staff review anesthesia protocol and risks at drop off and I always receive updates on my pet's condition by phone throughout the day.
Over the years my pets have experienced some complicated medical scenarios and I've never, ever felt pressured to choose the most costly treatment option. The veterinarians' patience and kindness with my many questions is greatly appreciated. When faced with a tough decision I'm one of those clients who will ask "what would you do if this were your pet?" and I feel I always get a thoughtful, honest answer.
Even though we've moved 45 minutes away we continue to travel to West Davis so Hannie can get the best possible care from Dr Carlisle and all the techs and other vets. Acupuncture from Dr. Carlisle really improves Hannie's comfort and mobility. You guys are the best!

I recently brought our cat Franzia in to get checked for an unknown medical condition. Right away I was greeted by Fran at the front desk and she was very sweet. I waited in the cat area and as soon as a room opened Kailea came and took Franzia away, she was very gentle with her which I greatly appreciated. Awhile later I met Dr Carlisle, after some testing was done. She was very compassionate and caring and explained all that she had done in diagnosing Franzias condition.Although it wasn’t definitive she offered to refer her for neurological testing. Franzia was 16+ years old and my daughter and I decided it would be very traumatic for her. Dr Carlisle and everyone that I met at this clinic were very understanding. Franzias condition worsened and a few days later we had to say our goodbyes. As hard as it was I will always remember the care she received here with gratitude. ♥️

Top-notch vet. Excellent service, professional, knowledgeable, friendly, brand-new state-of-the-art building, great hours. And they're flexible; I can bring in both my dogs during one time slot for vaccines and exams, which makes scheduling a lot easier for me.
