I don’t usually do Google reviews (unless I’m upset) but I felt I had to leave one after needing emergency care at Westside for my German Shepherd Dog, Moose. The entire staff went above and beyond for us and him! He had suddenly become sick on a Friday evening so we took him into Westside. The staff was very helpful in caring for him and communicating with us on his condition. He ended up having to stay there the entire weekend for meds and fluids. Dr. Barnes and Dr. Myers stayed in communication with us and the staff was very accommodating to let us visit with him and updating us when we called on how he was responding. He ended up being terminal and we chose to end his suffering and put him down. We appreciate the staff caring for him and making him comfortable through his final days and showing compassion on him and us as we said goodbye to a very important part of our family. You guys have a tough job and we are grateful to know you are there for our community! Thank you!!

Dr Barnes and her staff were wonderful with my dog, Klaus. I highly recommend them to everyone. Dr Barnes was very professional and knowledgeable and I felt like she really cared about my animal. Hopefully I won’t have to utilize their services again but if I am ever in an emergency situation, I know who I am going to. Love them all!

The vets and staff here are amazing!! I've taken several of my critically ill pets here for years when an emergency happens after hours. They are very compassionate and reasonably priced. They especially stand out when, unfortunately, euthanasia is the only option. I'm so thankful they are close to my home and are so wonderful.

Vert nice, clean emergency clinic. You and your pet are treated with the utmost kindness. I was very pleased with the Dr and Technicians that treated my Ellie as well as the outcome. I’m so glad to know that we have this Emergency Clinic within 30 minutes of home. Would highly recommend to anyone in an emergency situation.

My regular veterinarian was closed Sunday, 8/11/24, and we woke up to find our 11 year old dog passed away. Called the vet and a recording advised we could call Westside Emergency Animal Clinic, Lithia Springs. I told them what had happened, that she was a long time patient at Paulding Animal Clinic, and that I wanted to bring her by and have them make cremation arrangements (have done this one occasion before). They told me it would be $600 because they were an emergency clinic. There was no emergency at this point, just regular arrangements for pick up. She again said sorry but that's what they would require. I then called several others and was most fortunate to contact the 24 hour emergency clinic in Union City, Union City Veterinary Medical Center, and they handled everything beautifully for us. Couldn't have been any nicer. None of the emergency clinics I called quoted me anywhere close to Westside 's price. This was not my first experience with cremation so I knew they were taking advantage of the situation and it has become a matter of principle. We have used them twice in the past, once they forgot to send my dog for cremation until I called checking on it and once they put our dog down and refused us being with her. This is the third strike for me. I plan on using Union City from now on.

My cat had a severe injury to his mouth and we rushed him to Westside. There was nothing they could do, so I had to let him go. They were very sweet and compassionate and sent a nice card afterward that everyone signed. They enclosed a paw print card from my pet that I will cherish always.

I can't express enough gratitude to the team at Westside Animal Emergency Clinic for their outstanding care of my dog during a recent emergency. We found a tick on our dog late at night, and the staff at Westside Animal Emergency Clinic were incredibly responsive and compassionate. They immediately took us in, removed the tick efficiently. The clinic was clean, and the staff was knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. They put both me and my dog at ease during a stressful situation. I highly recommend Westside Animal Emergency Clinic for any pet emergencies—they truly care about their patients!
