Fue fatal jamás recomendaría ese hospital yebamos a mufasa un gatito de 3 meses con 23 días y no quisieron luchar por el y decidieron ponerlo a dormir porque ya no podíamos pagar más y desde el principio pregunte se con ese dinero y el tratamiento el iba a estar bien y dijeron que si y no fue porque se pagó 2,299 y luego pidieron más dinero es una larga y dolorosa experiencia nuestro gatito está muerto y y a

I have no words that can truly describe how grateful I am that we have such a phenomenal facility in Boise. My sweet girl was diagnosed with Lymphoma back in September and we were lucky enough to catch it at the right time. Through many visits and trial and error we were able to give Tipsy 7 more months of life. She even got 6 weeks of remission! Tips loved going to see her vet techs and Dr. Walters during our visits and I know how much they cared for and loved seeing her as well. When it was time to say good bye we made the best of that as we could. I felt valued and cared for during this wild roller coaster and would recommend West Vet to anyone needing Oncology for their pet ❤️

Walked in with a pet emergency was taken care of quickly, and my pet was having an issue. The staff was coutourious, knowledgeable. my pet passed, and it was handled with dignity and care. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Not a great experience at all! We came in with our sick kitten and were rushed to a room. A vet or vet tech came in to check on us within the first hour. She said we were going to be seen to get his vitals and to get antibiotics. About 1.5 hours later, we asked for an update on when we might be seen. 1.5 hours after that, we had no updates. We ended up leaving due to the wait and opted to go elsewhere. On our way out we asked a couple leaving how long they waited. They said 1 hour. I just have to wonder why we were never seen!!!

After taking our 5 lb chihuahua Archie to our local vet 2 days in a row with what appeared to be a back injury, they suggested West Vet since he was not improving and didn't eat for 4 days and drank very little.
West Vet treated him and us with much compassion.
I am very happy to report that after an overnight stay he is now home with us.
Although nobody at West Vet asked for this review I felt inclined to do so.
This is only the 2nd review I've ever posted anywhere.
I highly recommend West Vet.
Thank you so much for helping our sweet Archie.

This place should be in LA unless you can pay 10k a night mind as well let your pets die. They are not helping anyone they want money that’s it don’t care about pets or people at all.
I had a deeply upsetting experience with this veterinary clinic. It feels like their practices prioritize profit over the well-being of pets. I was pressured into costly procedures that didn’t seem necessary, and when I couldn’t afford them, my pet was not provided with adequate care. Tragically, this led to my dog’s passing, which could have been avoided with more compassionate and reasonable treatment options.

I called around everywhere for someone to see my bird who had a compound leg fracture. They said they didn't see exotics but after I tearfully asked if thy would be willing to look at her they agreed. I am so impressed with how well they took care of her, despite not seeing birds they did an amazing job wrapping her leg and alleviating her pain. I took her to an avian vet this morning and they confirmed all West Vet did was perfect for her needs. Her leg brace looked good, her toes had color and she was doing well despite her injury. The meds they sent us home with were just what she needed. They did their homework and rose to the occasion of seeing our girl and fixed her up so well. Thank you all so much for agreeing to see our baby, your hard work and dedication made her so much more happy and comfortable!

The care my pet received was good, but I'm not leaving a good review because of their lack of communication regarding when my pet could be picked up. I received a phone call at 7p stating pet was ready to be picked up after a non-threatening procedure. I arrived at 8, was told it would be a few minutes, but didn't get checked out until 9:20 with no communication as to why the delay. Horrible system which needs to be looked at more closely. Since they don't have appointments I can see a long wait to be seen initially, but when it's time to go home, I should not have to wait for that length of time. Otherwise I should have been told to come at 9 or 9:30 when my pet was actually ready. My time is just as valuable as theirs.
