I had an excellent experience. Dr. Hunt took the time to explain everything that was going on with our dog Winston. Dr. Hunt cares really about his patients. I walked out, feeling very informed and sure that my dog got the best care. I would recommend Wilton Hospital For Animals to anyone — paws down the best experience!

We have been going to Dr. Hunt with our 7 year-old dog for about 5 years. We recently were considering adding a rescue to the family and Dr. Hunt had wonderful advice on what to consider about the candidates and family dynamics. He is thoughtful and extremely up-to-date. I can't recommend him enough.

We love WHFA and the staff. Dr. Greco is the best has been a great addition to the practice. She's helped us with both our Labrador and cat now and I really can't say enough good things about her. She is very smart, takes the time to explain things and truly cares about the well being of any animal under her care. I would highly recommend using this practice for any veterinarian needs. The staff is extremely nice and well beyond qualified. I trust them completely!

Do NOT trust this practice with your animal’s life. My dog is in a hospital dying right now from Leptospirosis. We found out there is a vaccine we were NEVER offered by this practice. My dog would be alive right now had they told me about it. When I called to discuss it, they said well “He’s an old guy.”

Leptospirosis is also zoonotic, meaning it can be transferred from animals to humans. Why on earth would you not tell people about that? This is an antiquated practice that has not kept up with advancements in the veterinary field- that ignorance and hubris of “I know everything”, killed my dog today.

My dog is 12, his breed can live until they are 16. He deserved the chance to live and would have had I gone somewhere else.

Also, Carley, the assistant who answers the phone, is a prime example of how to train someone if you want to lose clients. Absolutely awful bedside manner and I should have taken that hint. No doctor worth his salt would have someone like that working at the front desk if he had a successful enough practice to hire someone capable.

Dr Hunt, Dr Greco, and the wonderful staff at WHFA provide expert care, but more importantly they truly care about the the pets (and owners) who come through their doors. I am so grateful for the skill and support they've provided to my pets over many years of practice, and the wisdom and useful tips they've shared, which helped make me a better owner. Truly a remarkable group.
