Dr. Colby was so great. I had a kitty losing weight and was really tired. Dr. Colby assessed Mouser’s symptoms, performed the proper test, and after some diet adjustments and medication he’s feeling much better. Was so good explaining the care mouser would need going forward. The whole office was very nice and I’m so happy that we are now patients at windward animal hospital.

The team at Windward AH was amazing. They correctly diagnosed and treated my foster bunny. They were knowledgeable and compassionate. I highly recommend them. He is recovering from a potentially fatal disease and I am grateful for their expertise. The ER vet had incorrectly diagnosed him with an ear infection. He has e cuniculi. His survival depends on immediate treatment. They saved his life.

Dr. Colby is amazing. We have 2 bunnies, 3 ferrets, and a bearded dragon he sees for annual check ups. We've also had the occasional emergency and he never fails to get us in and care for our pets. He is a wealth of knowledge and his staff is professional and friendly.

Snickers loves Ben and Dr. Colby. They have cared for him since he was a puppy and at 14 years old, he is in great shape. He is able to tolerate 3-5 mile walks 4-5 times a week without a problem.

They are very responsive and helpful when we need to contact by phone. When we first got Snickers, I remember Dr. Colby saying that his job was to keep us out of his office. That really made an impression on me. All of his staff is very personable. I highly recommend.

I’ve been coming to this vet for a very long time. Various animals. All of them extremely old seniors because I take such good care of them. One of my cats had for a possible UTI and they insisted I force vaccinate my animal. The doctor literally said I don’t feel comfortable treating them unless they’ve been vaccinated. What a joke. then it was an $850 bill, full of unnecessary items. All I was asking for was a urinalysis to see if he had a UTI. These people do not care like you think they do. This office has changed significantly over the years. You can find a better place that won’t force poison shots on your precious animals. They waste your time and money. Do not go here. I will never be back.

The pricing was right in line with other clinics that we called. It was worth the trip for us to come all the way from Dawsonville.

If you have rabbits this is definitely the place to take them. Before coming here I went to a few other vets that claimed to take rabbits but in reality had no clue what they were doing. Windward really cares about all of their clients and checks up after each appointment whether bad or good. Some of the prices may seem a bit high but remember you aren't just paying for medicine/exams but also the expertise which Dr. Colby definitely has. The previous vet I took my bunny Maurice to for stasis told me he should be euthanized, but Dr. Colby took seconds to recognize Maurices issue and recommended meds and he is doing much better now with no bouts of stasis since. Truly a wonderful exotic vet.

I came here to post a review on Windward Animal Hospital and got caught off guard about the previous persons’ review. This by no means is the experience that I have had at Windward Animal Hopsital over the past years.

I have had the pleasure of dealing with Dr. Colby on many occasions when caring for my pets. He, and his staff, have always been extraordinarily helpful, knowledgeable, and patient with me as I always have a lot of questions. There is not a practice that I have more faith in and will continue to bring all of my fur kids here!
