Outstanding service from the first call to the discharge!

My dog was attacked by another dog while we were on a walk, on a Saturday night. Luckily they weren’t super busy when I came in, and we got paperwork taken care of and were seen promptly (within reason - probably 20 minutes after we arrived, since her injuries were not severe but needed checking). The vet was very kind and clear about what was needed and they quickly got me an estimate of the costs. It did take about two hours for the procedures, and they messaged me to let me know when I would be able to pick her up in 30 minutes (which gave me time to get back, so she didn’t have to wait too long!).

The explanation of the discharge instructions was thorough and they made sure I didn’t have any questions.

Front desk and vet tech personnel were all professional and kind to everyone who came in. I hated having to visit an emergency vet, but they were great and if you need the service, I would highly recommend them.

Every person there was so kind and efficient. Dr Wilkins called with updates and results of all my cat, Hunter's, tests as soon as they were in. While it wasn't the outcome we were hoping for, she was kind and took care of our cat like he was her own. I have nothing but wonderful things to say. Shout out to Gloria at the front as well as Dr Gardiner-who discharged my cat home-and Dr Jeroski who called with the final biopsy results. Also to Dr Siems who took time out of her evening the night before I brought my cat in to answer questions. Every employee there deserves a raise in my opinion. I have never been to a vet hospital-other than our regular one-who embodies efficiency, knowledge, and compassion all at the same time. Thank you so much for all you did for our family. Our boy is resting comfortably at home. Without your quick thinking, I believe we would have lost him last week.

My lab has never needed emergency care until he decided to swallow a rock! The staff here was awesome and attentive. They chose to hydrate him overnight in hopes the rock would move. It did! This avoided surgery and saved me a lot of money. I won't remark on the costs because I'd go bankrupt for my boy's health if I had to.

All of the techs and the doctor were so kind and compassionate with my dog Sarge. There wasn’t any real wait and we were out and home in less than 3 hours.

He is doing well and hadn’t had another seizure. He is a bit loopy and tired as he gets used to the medication. We will be seeing our primary vet on Saturday for follow up.

Thank you so much !

I took my three year old Shih Tzu to the emergency hospital for a reaction to something she ate! The staff was so good to her! They did a thorough exam and took several tests! I left feeling so much better that she was going to be okay! This is the third time that I have taken her to this location and they are excellent!

On Monday evening 9/30/2024 our dog Cooper was playing in the backyard and suddenly collapsed. We were referred to AVECCC by our veterinarian and we rushed Cooper to their office. He was in bad shape and I wasn't even sure he would make it to their office. Once we arrived they rushed Cooper into the emergency room and started treatment immediately. They determined that he had a tear in the wall of one of the heart chambers and was bleeding out into the sac around his heart which then caused a blood clot around the heart. His blood pressure was dropping fast and his breathing became more and more labored. Dr. Reeves was on call that evening and he and his team were able to stabilize Cooper and give him a chance to survive. Once they were able to positively identify what was going on they began treatment to try and save Cooper. During the next couple of days we then dealt with Dr. Baker who is trained in heart related conditions. Even though Cooper was stable he was still in critical condition. Through the efforts of Dr. Reeves, Dr. Baker and the rest of the staff they were able to save Cooper's life. Cooper is like one of the family and if you have gone through something like this with your pet you know the fear and anguish you go through thinking your beloved pet will not longer be around. Throughout the process the Dr.'s and the staff were professional, informative and showed real concern for Cooper's well being. We felt that they were doing and did everything they could to save him. Now he is back home and doing great considering what he just went through. We want to thank everyone at AVECCC that cared for Cooper and saw us through this though experience.

Unfortunately I am no stranger to this place thanks to my frenchies but they are always amazing! Recently my boy tried to make friends with a bug that was not at all interested in that idea, resulting in a very rapid onset of itching and swelling which is exponentially more dangerous for the brachycephalic breeds so we rushed over. As soon as I got there they took him back immediately and got him going on meds and got me in a room to be with him shortly after. The techs/docs were amazing and got another medication in him before checking us out in the room and going over discharge instructions. I was in absolute shock as it took less than an hour which was crazy considering all the other critical cases they had coming in on top of everything. I can’t thank them enough for helping my babies on multiple occasions and always being so great! Before, during, after (sleeping awkwardly and peacefully on the way home) photos of the struggle bus
