Nice, clean clinic with friendly staff! Dr. Smith and her team have emergency vet experience and take such great care of all the animals. This urgent care with late hours is such an asset to everyone in the Huntsville/Decatur area with pets. Can’t wait to see this clinic grow as they get established!

We are thankful that we have this urgent care near us. We woke up on Sunday morning and found that our Bear couldn’t walk he was in so much pain. The staff and Dr Smith were so kind and great with our dog. They made sure he had his pain controlled and they quickly figured out what was going on. He is slowly recovering with medicine now. We will definitely use them again should the need arise.

Went here on a Sunday night with our baby boy, Eli, after he became lethargic and wouldn’t get up. We were so worried about him. We called this place and they told us to come in right away. We had never been here before. Our boy was seen by Dr. Lauren Smith assisted by Maddie (I think that was her name.) They were both fantastic! They did a thorough examination with blood tests and X-rays. Also provided medication needed. We were so thankful to find this place. They are open for emergency walk-ins Thursday-Sunday 12pm-10pm. We cannot thank them enough for the caring gentle attention they showed us and our baby boy as well as the knowledgeable veterinary professional service they provided. So glad we found them and they were there for our emergency!

Summit Urgent care is absolutely fantastic! They were able to take us right back and start diagnosing my cat immediately. I love the open concept that allowed me to go back with Ax and see exactly what the doctor was looking at. They made us both feel comfortable in a rough situation. Summit truly cares about your pet- cannot recommend them enough!

Summit did an AWESOME job treating our English Mastiff!!! She is very reserved with strangers and doesn't like it when new people invade her space and poke/prod her. Everyone was patient, calm and super nice. Brie actually laid on the floor and let them work on her ears before we left! Fantastic place. Fantastic people.

Wonderful and affordable! Had to take my guinea pig in for an inch+ long deep laceration from its cage mate. We were in and out within 30 minutes! They cleaned his wound and he gave him staples. They also provided us with the antibiotics and pain meds for our sweet boy. Their staff, assistants and the vet were really great! I can't recommend them enough! Our area has been in such need of an urgent care vet with late and weekend hours.

Love everyone here! Mandy and of course Dr. Smith took great care of me and my baby Oakland and prepped him to transfer to HVSE. They showed such great compassion and tenderness for my boy when he was in pain.
