I would like to Thank all the staff for seeing our little guy as urgent visit. We hade to say our good-bye's and staff was there to comfort us. The lost of a dog Is heartbreaking and leaves an empty spot in our family. We brought him home where he loved being. We are forever great-ful for all of you at "Cedar Animal Medical Center."

Worst place for emergency animal care!!!!? My dog needed emergency care and was denied. I was forced to go to Grants at the Airport Animal Clinic. This is where my dog died. The vet there said she would have survived if she was seen just a bit earlier. If this were a real hospital, they would NEVER turn away a sick patient and people would be outraged to learn the patient was denied medical help that resulted in death. ?

It's too bad I can't give negative stars.

I find everyone at this clinic to be incompetent and rude. I called to ask if I could buy Bordetella Vaccine, and I also provided my name and my dogs’ names so they could look up my account. They said yes come on in and we will sell you the vaccine, no problem. When I showed up at the agreed upon time they denied me the Bordetella vaccine which is an over-the-counter vaccine that does not require prescription. Stating my dogs needed to be seen. Aka they wanted to charge me a visit in order to get Bordetella. She stated “it’s a law”. 1. It is not a law and 2 why wouldn’t you tell me this over the phone. I then called another vet on my way home and asked if this was a law and they said no I could just come in and buy the vaccine even if my dogs have never been seen at their clinic. Cedar animal medical center has the worst care of any vet that I have been to and I have lived in six different states. I would not recommend their care. I know people who used to work here and they would not recommend their care. It’s very disappointing that I can’t just buy a simple over-the-counter vaccine, especially when a human can go in and get a vaccine at any pharmacy without ever being seen. I have had 2 other disappointing visits in the past which is why I switched vets in the first place. I decided to give them another chance but this solidified that they are horrible. Do not go here.

Dr Emily Spulak has been a good vet for our rescue dog, Raku, who has pannus. Early morning appointments are a little less busy as this practice is very much in demand.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOGS here they are terrible they are not a sanitized office and almost killed my dog. My dog had a spay surgery and got an infection from them not being clean!!! Take them to grants instead!!

Every vet who has helped my dogs has been fantastic. Really. Each one has been caring, thorough, and willing to answer all questions. I have two dogs and I rescued a sick stray dog and I cannot begin to express my gratitude for how everyone there was so kind and helpful. I only gave four stars because they need more staff and longer hours. However, beyond that, I know my dogs get great care.

DO NOT GET YOUR PETS NEUTERED OR SPAYED HERE!!!! My moms dog almost died due to an infection caused by a unsterile area, equipment and procedure that was done at this unsanitary office. TAKE YOUR PETS TO GRANTS OR ALBUQUERQUE for any procedures
