This review is way late!
I rescued a dog maybe a year and a half ago from a crazy Facebook lady that kept him locked in a laundry room.
He was missing all the fur on this body, had two types of worms, his nails were grown into his paw pads, infection/scabs all over his body due to staph, double ear infections, you name it. I truly didn’t have the money (who does lol) to afford all of that at one time but this poor boy needed it all. So I got my credit card out and let me tell you, midcities done everything in their power, knocked down as many prices as they could, some to near nothing… and really really helped the situation. I would’ve been lost without their kind hearts!
They helped with money tremendously, but, money aside, these people CARE. From the receptionist to the doctors, they came in talking to my pup, snuggling him and asked to take pictures of him. They were so gentle and sweet to him, how they handled him was so loving, you would think it was their own dog. I’ve never been so happy with a vet, and we will continue to use them! ? also, “Shaggy” is healed up and in a loving home now. New owners gave me permission to use pic 🙂

We love midCITIES! The staff is so friendly and took such good care of my Lexie girl. She just had an oral surgery and the staff kept me up to date on her status throughout the entire day of her surgery. Surgery is never easy on our fur babies or on their humans, but midCITIES is wonderful and I knew she was in great hands. Dr. Carter takes such good care of her patients and you can really tell how passionate the entire team is about the health and well being of their patients.

Excellent experience taking my dog here for an ear infection/cleaning. He is extremely fearful and we have had a hard time finding a vet who can work with him. Dr Runge and the vet tech knew exactly what to do to make it a safe and as stress free as possible for him. They are so kind and caring and also up front about all the costs and why they were doing each thing. Michelle at the front desk is very helpful and kind as well and went out of her way to make things more comfortable for our dog when he was entering so that he could go right into a room and provided a muzzle. Very grateful for this Vet!

This winter, during a snow storm, the clinic didn’t hesitate to take my Maggie May in last minute to give her stitches. We came today for her yearly vaccinations. My girl is highly anxious, and the staff here always puts her at ease! The clinic is so clean, and the staff are amazing with all clients-people or pups! Mags never hesitates to go in the door!

Just started going to midCITIES Animal Hospital. Friendly, great with my dog. Professional and willing to answer any questions. Fair pricing. Overall happy with the switch.

The building is super clean and well kept. The staff up front were very helpful and attentive and got us into an exam room right away. Our previous vet was Animal Hospital of Centerton but we had a way better experience at Midcities and highly recommend them!

First, I was shamed by the tech for not wanting them to take my new rescue pup to the back for simple vaccines. He wouldn't even let the vet (who was very respectful of the situation) get near him and had to sneak up behind him while I held him just to listen to his heart. I was his third home in about a week, and he had a LOT of trauma/trust issues. I was protecting them as much as him because any animal that is scared can react and cause harm, and yet I was being lectured on the importance of socializing. He had already nipped me in a panic moment, and he's a big boy that could cause big damage (at the time he was already 50lbs @ only 5 months old).

Then, with a follow-up a few weeks later, I was lectured once again by a different vet, even though my pup had made significant strides in his trust with strangers, and he was sweetly able to go to the back for his boosters without incident before the 2nd lecture.

To be clear, I wasn't rude to them. I just said I would rather the vaccines be done with me that first day because I was the only one in the room he trusted, which was very apparent since he kept hiding behind me to get away from them. So, I can only assume they put a note on my account because I simply wanted to ensure everyone's safety and cause less stress. Maybe not, but it's awfully coincidental. It's disappointing that they seemed to put their procedure at a higher priority than the safety of themselves and the emotional wellbeing of a traumatized pup.
