We love Southwood. They are always available when we need them. They have been great with our puppy and our older dog. They take their time with our pets and address all concerns. I feel they work hard to ensure great care at an affordable price!

Great staff and vet techs! The doctors take time to explain treatment plans, and don't order unnecessary tests. Been taking my dogs here since they were adopted as older puppies from Humane Society. Have never had to wait weeks for well checks or routine appointments, and the few times there was an emergency, my dog was taken in immediately.

Dr Williams is a compassionate and very experienced vet. She is helping me come up with a drug treatment plan for Chubby my 10lbs Pomeranian with collapsed Trachea and Enlarged heart. I have been so many times and some visits she didn't charge for follow up office visits or follow up xray. She takes her time and really works hard to find a solution. She has always returned calls and or emails. She answers all my questions. I am very impressed with the level of service at Southwood animal hospital. The staff is awesome, they have worked me in several times for chubby to receive a rescue steroid shot to minimize his goose honking cough episodes. Southwood animal hospital is by far the best animal hospital in middle Georgia.

Dr Floyd is an amazing veterinarian that is very kind, knowledgeable, and compassionate. Truly cares and will do everything in the best interest of you and your pet. Goes above and beyond in every aspect. Has taken great care of our sweet dog and navigated through some very complex situations. Highly recommend. The rest of the team we have dealt with is also great!

Our elderly cat began suddenly having urinary issues. Southwood was able to get us in same day with Dr. Lieske, a new provider to us. She was wonderful! Thorough, appropriate care. She called with lab results as she had said she would. I have never been disappointed with Southwood.

I have been with the same vets office for 15+years and it was great for the first 12 or so years, but lately I've only become a number to them, both financial and customer wise. I decided to try Southwood since I had taken a rescue kitten there in an emergency once and they were really great. I consider myself to be a very loyal customer, which is the only reason why I didn't switch all of my pets and rescue/rehab animals to them right after. I continued to give my vets office chance after chance, but when I most recently had an urgent medical issue with my French Bulldog and my vet said they still couldn't see her for another several weeks, I said I'd had enough and called up Southwood. They got me in 2 days from the day I called. The vet there was so nice and she really took her time to get to know my baby and she took her time going over different scenarios of what her issue could possibly be. More testing from a specialist will be needed, but at least I felt like she really wanted to help and she tried her best. She got me the referrals I needed and plenty of information regarding the many possibilities for future care. I am officially moving all 4 of my for legged babies to Southwood. Thank you Southwood!! ❤️

I am always pleased with the care that Princess receives at Southwood. Dr. Lewis is a wonderful vet. When she has to give injections she is very gentle. She always has time to answer my questions and makes sure that I understand the directions she gives me. I have had a lot of different techs but each and everyone of them are so good with Princess. I would give all of the employees at Southwood a 5 ? rating and wouldn't take Princess anywhere else.

We had an unfortunate scary event that led us needing to see a vet asap. Knowing just how busy they are, we called to get a referral of a different animal hospital to treat a wound since we are fairly new to the area and trust their judgment. The staff here treated us so great and fit us in their busy schedule last minute . Great customer service, urgency, communication and empathy! We have never received such great service from a vet. Never feel as if we are being charged the most or taken advantage of. They are absolute ANGELS!
