We came in as an emergency late at night for a kitten who was in a lot of pain, unknown cause. They were kind enough to get us in within a timely manner. They treated me with respect and gave the kitten pain medicine promptly. Did a very thorough work up. Cost wise for everything that happened that night I thought it was well within an appropriate charge being an emergency visit. The vet was extremely kind and explained everything in detail. I would highly recommend their office.

Dr. King did a wonderful job explaining in great detail the entirety of the ACL repair surgery on Lina. Dr. King explained everything in great detail about the process. It was a bit more extensive upon opening her leg up and Dr. King and the team did an amazing job patching it all up and getting her on the road to recovery.

We felt so comfortable leaving her there before her surgery. The updates from the clinic regarding surgery results were great to have. Lina is still all kisses and happy-go-lucky.

Staff were so kind when we had to put our Emmy Lou down unexpectedly. We had never been there before and they did not know us! We recieved a card that was signed by the staff with condolences for losing our girl. I felt like that was above and beyond for them to do. I would definitely recommend!

We called ahead to let them know the circumstances of our kitten, they were ready and waiting to triage him as soon as we got there. We weren't there long as they diagnosed our little guy with feline parvo and we opted to have him euthanized. The staff were kind and compassionate, and gave my daughter and I plenty of time to get our goodbyes in. We stayed with him until the very end and they put him in his own little casket that we could bury him in. Thank you to the staff that showed us lots of love and understanding today. We appreciate you.

A good friend of mine recently lost her beloved cat to a fast progressing illness. I cannot recommend the staff at VCA more for everything they did to save him- plus the emotional support and guidance they provided my friend when the time came to let him go. They kept in touch constantly, offered to have another doctor give a second opinion, and stepped in to euthanize when he began to suffer. The folks that work here have some of the hardest jobs ever and I can't recommend this facility enough for everything they did and how kind they were doing it.

PLEASE CHANGE YOUR HOURS ON YOUR DOOR AND WEBSITE! I drove an hour and brought in my pup who got into albuterol inhaler with a 225 BPM heart rate at 1 am on Thursday September 19, 2024, which shows your hours are 24 hours on Thursday. I managed to get my lethargic, very ill pup out the car and into the lobby to be told you aren't seeing patients? That's ok, Thank goodness for the gem of Madison Veterinary Specialists down the road who didn't turn us away.

About a week ago, I woke up to the sound of my two year old cat having a severe asthma attack. She had a deep cough and seemed to be struggling to breathe. I had just moved to the area less than a week prior and hadn't even picked out a primary care vet for her yet. I called the VCA, and they said to bring her right away. I drove her over there and she was immediately taken to the back and put on oxygen and given steroids. Though they appeared to be low on staff (I only saw a total of three people), the doctor still sat down with me and calmly and effectively answered all my questions. They developed a plan for her and gave me several pointers on how to reduce the chance of my cat inhaling allergens in the home, some of which my other primary vet back home never mentioned. The tech was also very kind and informative. I really can't thank them enough for providing such excellent care to my girl and for the empathy and kindness they showed me.
